Fee needs to be agreed then they usually travel the next day then do medical etc the following day announced the next day and in training so if agreed tomorrow he'll be in training Thursday Friday

Watching him off the ball it was clear how Brighton targeted him with their bigger CFs. The nudges when making the runs and knocking him out of his stride to give them half a yard of space was very apparent. That was an individual battle he struggled with and nothing to do with the overarching problems we had in the game. I'm in no way blaming him for the result, he isn't a CB, but playing him there inherits that type or risk going forward. Less relevant in games we expect to dominate possession much more (and maybe Utd is such a game), but one to be mindful of. I like Emerson, I've a great deal of respect for his attitude and application, but I also think it's unfair to expose him to the CB role for too long if we can avoid it.

What's the panic with getting him in before the Utd game? 99% on here had never heard of him 2 weeks and haven't seen him kick a ball, live. Yet he's being lauded as the second coming.
We'll batter Utd with our under 7's playing in the back 4. They're shite and we'll be out of sight before half time. Let them worry how they're going to stop us from scoring with our new German goal machine arriving. Ange has got this. Our 6-1 win there will look like a bore draw after this weekends incoming battering.
In fact, it will be such a destruction I can see a movie made about this game by Werner Bros.....

I haven’t seen anyone doing that. We just wanna get a CB in. So does Ange. Especially now that Davies supposedly is out.
Once we pass next Sunday we’ll be halfway through the month. Not sure you can call any signings ‘early’ at that point.
