Obviously what was covered off in this all sounds great. Im excited for this signing.

also…… The Italian reporter in this clip was brilliant. Very impressed with the way she delivered that insinsight
Was about to come on and write the same.

A brilliant and well researched roundup on the player.

No waffle. Just well delivered info.

Good journo.

my slight concern with this signing is his ability to play out from the back under pressure, which we do a lot under ange

I've said it before but it's a great market to be shopping in. The big Italian clubs that would usually snap these players up, can't compete financially right now. Also helps that we have the number one guy for finding and facilitating the moves for these players as far as Italy is concerned.
Agree. I reckon DL was aware of this when he went for FP originally, i.e. the relative financial power changes between Serie A and the EPL. I imagine that’s how he thinks.

In my mind he deserves a lot of credit for that appointment. I know many won’t ever do that due to missteps he’s made (and I would agree, there have been many).

That's my concern too. We'll need to be careful of that - one weak link in that chain and we could consistently put ourselves under pressure if we're not careful. It's risky enough as it is.

He'll need patience. He's still just a kid really.

Precisely. We are all buzzing because finally got another CB (that on paper seems to be quality) over the line but now the reality sets in and he’ll have to adapt and settle in. Ange I’m sure will help him hugely but we need to find some patience as like with the team there will be ups and downs.
