Played well today, said it in the match thread that he was my man of the match. His holdup play was the best I've seen from him, long may it continue. Well done 👍

Once Maddison starts playing with Bentancur & Sonny, Rcharlison should be loads of more chances. Once our best XI plays, IMO Richarlison is going to score & assist plenty

Very good performance from him today. Getting better and better.

Outscored all Arsenal players in the league so far.

We're starting to see the Richarlison that kept Everton up. He has it in him.

Loved him today. He always has that fire but now hopefully that injury is behind him and some confidence, he'll go strength to strength.

There was one great and crucial tackle he made on the edge of our box in the second half that summed up his performance.

I really admire him. Gives everything to the cause and turns up in big moments.

Dont overlook his defensive work. He came back and stopped a deadly United pass from going to the edge of our area where Bruno (I think) was waiting for it.

Thats the 3rd time he has done that recently.

Also, I do think people rate him incorrectly.

He will never be a 20+ goal player nor a top CF.

But he has a habit of rising to the occasion and scoring in big moments.

And you need players like that to win titles.

Wonder if Agbonlahor will have anything to say about him this week after watching the game.

Hate to even give the clueless clickbaiter the attention but some of the stuff said by the media about Richarlison is disgraceful in general.

Also the fact he's openly spoken about his mental health issues makes it all the more bizarre. Anyway fairplay Richy!

Reaching Mandzukic levels, won't score like Kane but he will work hard, press constantly and score more headers than anyone else. Obviously he will do a fair share of shithousery as well. Must-have on Premiership fantasy, his psychologist doing some great work.

I agree that he’s never going to be a reliable 20 goals a season striker, but there’s a chance he hits 20 in all comps this season given the form he’s in, or at least comes close.

He has 8 in all competitions now (6 in his last 6 matches). Another 8 or 9 from the remaining 20 or so matches (assuming we stay in the FA Cup) is not an unrealistic target.

i saw a stat that says that with this latest goal, he is outperfoming his xG.

regardless, he may be in the 50th percentile in terms of xG or shooting or watever... but when it comes to HARD WORK and GRAFT and Giving his ALL, Richie is probably top 10th percentile of all #9's in the EPL right now.

if he is playing for le Arse.... he will be their top scorer and they will be higher up the table, easy.

Agree with your post but just wanted to pick up on the highlighted bit as I've seen it mentioned on here and elsewhere.

He has actually been scoring at an even better rate than Son this season, in terms of non penalty goals (Son has one!) per 90 minutes.

It's easy to forget that prior to his surgery he was on the bench several times and often hooked early when he started. Throw in the games he missed post surgery and he has actually played less league minutes than Van de Ven this season.

We've seen how his form and overall play has improved after the surgery, but that version of him hasn't even played in a Spurs team without an injury crisis.

I personally think he can be a great number 9 for us under Ange, this season and beyond.

That's a fair point and that is most certainly enough

If he plays like that every match, even with a bit less quality, he can be our #9 for the next few years. His best performance in our shirt by a massive distance.
