A Spurs win and a Dipper loss would really make the run in very exciting.

Im not convinced Maddison starts tonight, I can't remember seeing him touch the ball against City, think he'll be eased back in.
VdV didn't even come off the bench against Burnley but started against Utd (albeit 9 days later). There's every chance Maddison starts I think. Well I hope he does anyway. I guess the downside is we don't then have an impact sub. Unless Johnson can fill that role coming on for the last section.

Assuming Kulusevski's poor show against City was down to his still recovering from illness I wouldn't be surprised to see him start ahead of Maddison tonight. We'll want Madders to play a part in both games this week, and if he isn't 100% yet it is very tempting to start Johnson on the right and Deki at no 10, knowing you can move him to the right to replace Johnson and bring on Maddison later on. Kulusevski is the only one of the three you know can keep the intensity up for 95+ minutes

Pivitol game - players need to step up tonight to keep in touch with the top 3. We haven't really created that much in our last three games, Burnley, Utd & City. Brentford at home is a game we should be winning even with a few players out and only 20+ games into the Big Ange rebuild.

I'll be a bit surprised if Maddison does not start. He might only go 60, but I think he starts in a game where we "must" win - if we want to keep title hopes alive.

Then, at 60 minutes, you can take him out, and slide Kulusevski over, and let Johnson run at tired legs.

I think this is what will happen and I think Johnson needs the break but can still be a valuable asset from the bench.

Has the feel of the West Ham mid-week home game where we were all going into it confident we would win...

Need to play well tonight. COYS!

My first game since Covid. How I’ve missed it. And it’s already freezing cold.

So nice to be able to look forward to a Spurs game again after the last 4 years or so.

I dont think tonight will be easy or we have 3 points in the bag, the way I often did during Poch’s heydays, but regardless we will attack and wont be camped out on our 18 yard line.

Will be surprised if there’s less than three goals scored tonight.

COYS !!!

Hope we don't risk VdV's hammy by starting him tonight and also at lunchtime on Saturday. Need to ease him back carefully. So I'd quite like to see Drago start with Romero either tonight or against Everton. Looking forward to seeing Dragusin get a proper gallop to see what he can do.

I think we have to play our best team, and VdV is part of that. He’s been back in full training for weeks now and I’m sure they’ve been making him sprint / assessing. If he’s declared himself fine to play, he should play. I imagine Dragusin needs more time to adapt
