I said before that Potter wasn’t the problem at that football club, same goes for Poch.

They’re going to have to get used to at least a couple of years of flirting with 7th-10th. Complete mess on and off the pitch and you love to see it!

Agree. Best thing Chelsea can do is keep Poch to provide a bit of stability and direction. But with the trouble their in with FFP and the mishmash of players that they have, I think he’s fighting a losing battle.

Assuming it's true that they "can't afford to" sack him because it'll plunge them even further into trouble re: sustainability etc, I wonder how bad they let it get...

it’s absolutely brilliant this. They truly are a horrible team, full of players who are either not good enough or clearly don’t want to be there.

Imagine Enzo right now, he has next to no chance of getting a move unless a team comes in for £100m+ which they won’t. He must just look at the situation and think “shit”. Also the same for Nkunku.

If he’s not gone today I’m convinced they can’t afford to do it.
I know different sport but same ownership group, the Dodgers under perform every year and everyone wants their manager sacked for like the last 4 years, but they just won't do it because he does what the ownership group wants... I'm not saying that's what poche is doing but if he doesn't kick up a massive fuss about transfers or anything like that, they will keep him till end of year

I think you're giving too much credit to Potter and Poch there buddy.

The greater thing is players are now going to stop and think before joining them.

If it goes awry, they could be stuck.

I imagine one discussion with Enzo or players around him, and it's "Think twice, I can't get out if I wanted to and we have no chance of European football"

I guess if they didn't report it and someone else found it later they would get a far harsher penalty. Look at how the City info came out and you can see that it's possible. I'd be surprised if there's a promise that they won't be punished, but they'll probably be treated more leniently having self reported the actions of the previous regime.

Would probably have worked a lot better if they hadn't immediately gone out and spent £1,000,000,000 in a couple of transfer windows. They tried to plead innocence and then flipped FFP the middle finger.

Not been keeping tabs on the Chelsea shitshow this season but is Poch at risk or have they written off this season as a bedding in season?

Don't think they can afford to sack him. The payoff would add millions to their spend.
