The threat of the conference league is seriously annoying. I would rather have another clear run at the domestics than end up in that.

To end up in that it’s likely we’d have to finish 8th, or not at all if Chelsea win the cup final next week.
We’ll categorically not finish as low as 8th.

I should add, I'm still optimistic generally, as I was before the season started, but even we do send up falling off a little, it will still have been a great start under Ange compared to how we were just a season ago.

I actually look forward to our games again, which is something not felt for years.

Really worried about Utd now with the momentum they have. We all know we have that tough fixture list in April to deal with along with the game in hand against Chelsea which is always a fucking mare. This alone make dropping points at home to the likes of wolves even more damaging and painful

They were very poor. I'm not worried yet

Apart from City, United have a few very winnable games coming up. Don’t expect Fulham to bother them at the weekend. Shaw is out again and will probably miss a few games. Without him and Martinez they do struggle. It’s up to us. Keep winning games and we will be fine. Utd have to still to play the top 3, same as us and Villa.
The heat is on, we need to stand up and be counted. Our previously injured players should get better as the season progresses.

Fulham looks winnable but that’s followed by Man C away. They then have Everton and Sheffield United at home - which they will be under pressure to win because their following 3 matches are Brentford away, Chelsea away and Liverpool at home. There’s ample opportunity for them to drop points in that run.

The momentum is with United now. Unless we change two months of form we are looking at missing out. One thing that's key for me is that we play in Europe next season. Regardless of the competition.

United are winning whilst playing poorly, which is what we did before Wolves. They'll drop points with performances like that.

I think that’s the key to it, we need to fix the form and how we are playing and then results will follow. We’ve gotten to the point of the season where everyone is looking at the table and worried about those around us but we just need to get back to our football. Players all look a bit sluggish like they’re coming back from injury, hopefully we can sharpen up in the next 2 weeks.

I agree that we are 100% in a huge fight for top 4 but I’m still confident we can get it. Our guys will click again soon enough and we get points. Villa and Utd will drop plenty of points between now and the end of the season. Top 5 is likely to also be CL and I’m very confident that we will be top 5. Very.

Me too but ideally we start to click against Palace and keep going strong from then. Really can't afford to be dropping any more points in this CL fight

Yeah, I think to be in the race for the top four/five, whilst also being at the start of an exciting project, is great. And we have a really good chance.

Man U and Villa are just as likely as us to drop points. What gives me confidence is when we have been at our best, we have been better than the both of them.

For me, we’re missing a bit of spark at the moment: a lot of the players are taking two or three extra touches. But I can see us going on another run if things do click again. We have players like Son who traditionally are very streaky, and Maddison who is playing at about 50% of his potential right now. I think we need a few of those players to come into form again and we will be in really good shape for at least top five.
