Had a feeling Spurs would persist and kick on in the second half but honestly wasn’t expecting a 4-0 win: I was thinking this score line would be a sign of progress in Ange’s second season. Genuinely thought we could hit this lot next season and lessons will be learnt: past few games the mentality and fitness have been so good.

So excited for the remainder of the season and we could also be a nuisance for the top three in our run in.

More impressive looking at the context of where we’re at this season, Villa were hyped up and Spurs stepped up to the occasion with the pressure as well: continue with this mentality along with the relentless style of play this bodes well for the future. COYS!

What's amazing is the goals we've scored. We have more this season at this time than ever before and when we started it was without our greatest ever goal scorer- what a great team effort so far this year

The pundits think (probably just guessing) it was a hamstring for Micky but there's no way they'd let him back out after half time if it was. You can't "run off" a hamstring issue.

There I was in the first half saying that McGinn always seemed to tow the line with how aggressive he was.

This was much more than a win though. Turning up at their place and seeing them first change their entire setup to counter us and then get thrashed in the second half is going to psychologically leave a mark I hope.

The cherry on top is the McGinn red. Not just the ban, but it was so clear and obvious, Villa can’t blame the ref or VAR etc. I can’t stop smiling

HUGE 3pts! and great performance.

Villa got exactly what they should have at our place. Good performances all round, but Sarr and Udogie I thought were outstanding. Just hope VDV injury not too bad.

Massive result and McGinn's a ****............COYS!!

He will be a big miss for them, does a lot of work in their midfield.

He went down in the second half, he was clearly holding his left hamstring and got subbed. He walked off a bit gingerly too.

That was actually great for the GD too.

Fuck Sky for not showing the celebrations! 😞
Considering is City v Liverpool and the Klopp & Guardiola love in I am surprised they’d showed the full match. They couldn’t wait to switch to the build up
