Mad West Ham are actually 7th, feels like the way they play they’re a bottom half team but all things considered not the worst result in the world.

I think if it hadn’t been raining so much we would’ve been able to have played a bit of our normal football more easily but we definitely need to improve our attacking players and play against low blocks like that.

This is an incredibly low quality Premier League season - absolute mountains of dross outside of the top 3 - including ourselves.

what a shit advert for 'wanting to win'. This draw is all on Ange ...he needs to own up for his shit performance. WH were there for the taking and he refused to gamble for the points - if he brought on deki, PEH, Sarr & GLC at half time, we would have won by at least 2 goals. If Ange thinks he's gonna win the league with these shit tactics he best use the break to brush up on the PL - where even poor teams win games through sheer will of force & by rolling the dice

You do post some utter bollocks at times

Happy with a draw, had this one down as a spawny win for them.

Looked like two tired teams to me. Probably the consequence for the Premier leagues bizarre choice to have midweek games the week after an international round of midweek games.

I think Sonny should bide his time and keep running at them in those final moments. Old Sonny would have probably ran all the way to the edge of their box and had a crack

Again I'm sitting here tearing my hair out at Lo Celso coming on in the 89th minute, after a stinker from Maddison and seeing Kulu come on much earlier only to do worse than nothing.
tbf, the only players in our squad that made their debut before Gio were Son, Davies and Skippy. If he's not made that position his yet, you have to wonder if he ever will: there's probably a reason he's made 40 league appearences for us in five years.

1-1 is not a bad result whilst a win would have been a fair result we must remember this mob have got the better of us recently

Mistake not getting Richy on earlier. I think that Kulu on at 10 was done to try get some physicality up top but it was really at striker where Son was having a bad game where we needed it.

Really poor. Playing walking football against a team that’s time wasting at 1-1 at home. 2 points thrown away against a shit team.

Unless Richarlison literally only has 10 minutes in him, no idea why he didn’t come on earlier. This was never going to be a game where Som thrived up front

Hammers fans must be wondering why there isn’t extra time when they’ve got a draw in their cup final

GLC comes on for five minutes and lays it on a plate for Udogie who inexplicably shoots at the keeper. Either side it's a goal.
TBF with the exception of Son, perhaps Maddison, i doubt anyone else does any better on their weaker foot.

Was more concentrated on the strike, which was sound.

Son picked a shit game to have such a stinker.
A number of poor passes by different players especially in the final 3rd, so frustrating as they were there to be beaten

Don't think the squad generally is performing to the level of quality it has at the moment.

Really with the squad we have, 4th should be easier than it's proving to be.
Had a chance to put pressure on Villa with a win against a poor West Ham. We were piss poor.

That last breakaway, typical Son had Richy and Kulu to opt for instead of BJ and Werner....reckon we would of scored

We're average enough and it's tiresome watching us pass around in front of a deep defence instead of crossing and shooting far more often to create some jeopardy on the opposition goal. Watching Romero walking in possession is tiresome. Seeing Maddison run deep to get possession, only to hand it off again after moving 5 yards with the ball is pointless. Is it tactical that we don't cross and shoot more?

Ange has real problems here, we've gone backwards in the last 3 months, which is in direct contravention to his mantra of developing and progressing being the most important thing. He needs a variant of his style to employ.
progression is rarely linear
