Has it actually? We were in 4th when Conte was sacked, and after that results got much worse. We finished 1st in our CL group too.

Look at Newcastle this season - they couldn't manage the league and CL but are obviously much better than we are.

I'm not saying he should be sacked at all. I'm just saying there's a power to first impressions and he's a bit fortunate that it all started so well. But that will become meaningless if we don't get back to that level.

I'm now at the stage where I have to question him. When we continuously can't defend crosses and set pieces and it's not being dealt with then that's not sticking to your principles. It's naive and stupid.

When you lose porro for Emerson why do you have to have two inverted full backs? Nobody is that stubborn. I'm not suggesting we go defensive as I've seen that and I'd rather eat my own poo but a little flexibility and adaptation wouldn't hurt.

I think it’s worse. We had an interim coach then and knew we were just tying to limp to the end of the season.

We’re meant to be improving each week but we’re only getting worse. Worrying.

Switched off at 4. Pretty concerned about our upcoming run of games, can see us losing our next 3 to Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool playing like this.
