Let's be honest here. We are really horrible for a long time.

Pumped 3-0 away by Fulham
Scraped past Luton Town 2-1 at home
Struggled to draw 1-1 away vs West Ham
Pumped 4-0 away to Newcastle

A 3-1 v Forest at home being the only positive result in the last 5 matches.

Can’t help but get the feeling Ange's style of football has been found out, it may work in tin pot leagues but essentially playing basketball is not going to work in the premier league, you need a element of control and not to rely on 1v1s to defend.
I really don't think it's a case of being found out. We just can't play it to a good enough level yet.

Everyone has "found out" how Pep plays, doesn't mean teams are able to stop it.

We’ve been totally ineffectual at corners all match and finally Newcastle profit from it. In truth they probably should have scored more from their corners

Sorry, can we just play pragmatic "semi attacking" football instead of kamikaze 'trying to walk the ball into the net" or "inverted attacking football"..

We are SOOOOO easy to play against..

Has it actually? We were in 4th when Conte was sacked, and after that results got much worse. We finished 1st in our CL group too.
It's chalk and cheese. Last season was boring, turgid shite.

We have had a few bad ones this season, but its generally been better

Problem is, when you leave it so long to make the subs and you’re 3-0 down by the time you do, it’s too late for them to make any impact.

Have we ever played out a 0-0 with Newcastle. Either we thrash them or they thrash us. Either way, both erratic and shit in equal measures!

It’s so easy to play against us , but more worrying is how easy it is to create good chances . One ball over the top and acres of space to run into , be very different thoughts on ange when we finish the season with 6 points from 6 games at best .

It's just so naive tactically from Ange, and if not stubbornness just downright idiotic to not look to rectify things.

Every single game this season we get cut open by a long ball over the top, and yet we never adjust the line, or the way we set up to have more players around defensively.

Then crowding the middle of the pitch against a team playing 5 at the back with inverted full backs when we need to stretch the width.

Probably one of the worst games I've seen from us in a long time. So toothless in attack, and no fight all over the pitch.

Embarrassing.

It can only work if you are clinical, if we are 2 up in the first 15 minutes it’s a completely different story. The fact we barely ever score in the first half whilst dominating possession shows where we need to invest heavily. We need to spend 150m on our front line this summer or this project is pointless

Check BBC sport for the score. Immediately regret it. I hate when we go to Newcastle. It's like we can't handle the change in climate.

For me it's the Chelsea game

High line defending with 9 men

Absolutely suicidal and it's just get worse as the season progress

Acres of open spaces behind the fullbacks to exploit..every loss of possession is a 2 v 2 ..just hoping our defenders can run faster than their forwards..totally unstainanle gung-ho kids playground football

The ridiculous thing about the Chelsea game was they didn’t look like scoring and had it not been for our ridiculous high line gifting them chance after chance they may not have scored. Any competent manager would have kept it tight at the back and given his team a very realistic chance of getting a draw. That would have been a massive boost for any side but no, we started a domino effect of amateur hour, rinse and repeat.
