Loved some of the football at times this season but Ange needs to stop saying we're not going to change how he asks us to play because he is creating a winning mentality for us to be in a title race next season. The times we have had a hiding this season demonstrates weaknesses that his philosophy doesn't seem to address. My brother is a Newcastle fan and we we're talking before the game, I said I would be surprised if we won lost or draw. What has surprised me is how poor we were against a side struggling to put out anywhere near their first team.

Maybe the high line was the reason they didn't look like scoring in the first place until we made mistakes and bad decisions ?

When you say they didn't look like scoring.... it's not like we parked the bus and then suddently switched to a high line that cost us.

Fucking awful and we have gotten poorer as the season has gone on so I don’t begrudge anyone having an over the top meltdown in the moment.

Today was a disgrace - from the manager through to every player and the attitude of everyone.

Feel like I have been hooked up to an electric chair today!.
That was abysmal, and I worry about our game against Woolwich.

Same glaring issues, nothing done to rectify anything. I’m fed up getting battered every week. Results have masked performances for ages

Arse were like this for almost 3 season under Arteta. Their fans were toxic, wanted him sacked.

Maybe you’re right. Of course he deserves time.

Are you not concerned we’re getting worse each week though?

No excuses either, fully fit squad for over 2 months.

So many issues, gets worse each week

I’m back to the stage of just looking out for the result when the game is over rather than put myself through the pain of watching us. I thought that would stop after Conte left but looks like it’s back 😂 we really are a shambles.

Completely agree, we need to keep our heads.
I promised myself at the beginning of the season that I’d give him this season as a free hit and only start judging him on next season.
Doesn’t mean that I’m not very, very disappointed at the moment though.
