So many below par performances. Fulham deserved the win and are a good team. Kulu on the right just looks so one dimensional at times and Sonny had one of those games where he cannot pass it 5 yards to a team mate. Baffling.
I reckon those top 3 will nervously be looking over their shoulder. We are still in touch and we have been winning matches without clicking as a team. That run of difficult matches starting end of April could help us as it would allow us to do some serious damage to our rivals who might have...
That Redcafe thread was genuinely funny in parts. (And balanced) Don’t think anyone should tell them that Cuti is back in full training as it will finish them off 😂
Can’t be too fussed about this. If he chooses us over Bayern then we have a very committed asset. If Bayern turns his head it’s probably best he doesn’t bother with us.
Either way when we tonk Bayern in the UCL it will be very satisfying 😂
Playing as a 6 with a right back and left back in central defence against the Premier League and CL Winners.. Think he should be given a bit more love.
What is the point of playing to the strengths of our poor players. It isn't how we want to play and you just cover up their limitations. Play like this and it is obvious who needs to leave the club. Would rather lose a few more now and prove who can stay. Even today I saw a few players step up...
Really think we should play the strongest team for the difficult matches and rotate when we get slightly easier matches.
So play them all tonight and rest for Chelsea :)
It just feels different this year. In previous years when we were at the top it felt like we were lucky in a fair few of the matches. This year it feels justified and that some of the closer matches we should have scored a lot more. I guess confidence will be key if we are to keep playing in the...
No give it to Cuti, he would probably two foot the oppo Captain at the coin toss :)
Really good to see Bissouma an integral part of the team, I think he will settle in very quickly. Would avoid giving him the Captaincy for the moment so he can concentrate on himself first.
I will be in a minority but think batting on was the right call. Get 2 players who have struggled so far in the series involved in the game. Rub the Aussies nose in it (as they would do to us) and these extra runs mean we can set really attacking fields.
I think he could be a good squad backup but if he lines up as a regular starter then I think there will be trouble ahead. However there is a part of me that thinks moving on those recent "senior" players like PEH, Lloris and Dier might not be the worst move and might start a new age environment...
I am not questioning his commitment, but just the effect of two pretty big events that may affect how he approaches games, and to be honest i couldn't really blame him.
I am really on the fence with this one as I really hope we could get him to stay, but one thing that concerns me is that if we keep him for a season and let him go on a free, do we see the best of him. He has the Euros and a lucrative contract on a free to sign, how committed can we expect him...
