I've always thought that goal was a fluke tbh, you see him look up and spot the player making the run and I think he's trying to find him but overcooks the lobbed ball.
He's certainly capable though of meaning that i've just always throught it was a over hit lobbed pass.
Genuinely just seems to really enjoy watching football aswell which really comes across in his commentary.
Compared to Gary Neville who constantly seems to look for anything negative and generally speaks in a depressing tone, Ally McCoist is very refreshing.
I love Ange and we absolutely must stick with him I have no doubt, but I'm getting rather frustrated with out of form players constantly being picked to start, especially when we have options that have actually performed better when coming on as a sub.
Biss and Maddison just have to be...
Would quite like to see Bentancur, GLC, Maddison. Extremely technically gifted midfield 3 with plenty of creativity against the inevitable 11 behind the ball.
Only issue is without Biss and Sarr's athleticism it leaves us even more vunerable to our arch nemesis, the counter..
So Biss, GLC and...
Seems a little rash and last ditch for me right now.
To be fair, that could be an unfair opinion as there's no context to why he's making those challenges. Plymouth are 2 points off the relegation spots so maybe thats the reason.
I do like his build and overall athleticism though, seems quick...
He looks very afraid to make a mistake/miss and chance. He's doing everything very simply, like trying to make a yard and drill in a low cross, which ironically is what is getting him assists.
Really is a player that 99% of the time plays with very little confidence, yet still is very...
Elite physical attributes can often be far more important that technical ones, especially in the premier league. If you have height, pace, power, balance and stamina, with very average footballing ability, you're likely gonna be a very good player, luckily, Sarr has all the physical ability...
I'd like us to try Biss, Lo Celso and Maddison in midfield against teams we know will put 11 behind the ball with a forward line of Werner, Son, Johnson.
Lots of pace in behind and 2 creative midfielders to actually try and play the ball in behind.
There was a great 5 or so minutes in the first half around the 33rd minutes where the whole team stepped it up a gear, passing was quicker, 1 or 2 touches, snappier, more movement, and we actually started opening them up.
Unfortunately it only lasted 5 minutes, but we need way more of that...
He's left mate, no need to carry on blaming Dier for fucking everything.
Also Kanes lack of winning mentality? He's been bought to score goals, he's doing it for fun. He has 27 goals in 24 games in the league alone. I'd say he's doing his job exceptionally well.
Everytime i've watched Bayern...
I actually think completely ignoring it is the best solution aslong as all refs do the same.
It's actually no different to ignoring a toddler having a temper tantrum for no reason other than attention, if you ignore it eventually they'll stop doing it.
I'd just like to see us control the game more effeciently without the constant anxiety that if we lose the ball we will immediedlty be conceding a good chance to them.
We play a pretty extreme style of play but that shouldn't mean every time we turn over the ball they opposition get a really...
I think my memory serves me right when I say Tangangas best showings for us were at RB? I know he's naturally a CB but he put in some really stand out performances at RB, was surprising at the time because he had some good acceleration and power to take on his man even though being a natural...
Agreed, disastrous transfer but the fat jokes are really boring now, there's clearly a deeper issue with him, which I hope aren't too serious, but time to leave it be and move on.
A big problem we seem to have right now is the players seem short of confidence.
Much of our good football in the first couple of months was from the centre backs and defensive midfielder (usually Biss) playing risky but penetrating passes through the press and midfield then one/two touch...
Violated
Thanks to all the ITK's and mods, excellent window.
When we get Sarr, Biss and Sonny back, in our current state, dark horses for the title isn't as crazy as it might have seemed not too long ago..
