    In relation to our midfield there’s a good video by FourFourTwo which show why we’ve struggled in recent games. Basically teams play narrow against us clogging up the midfield which gives us no space to crate our little triangles. Worth a watch. Sorry don’t have the link.

    My two cents worth on that game. Bayern should have won that game. They had 3 opportunities in the first half to put a man in on goal and messed them up with a woeful pass. Kane gat an assist but I didn’t think he had a great game. His passing was off at times and he should have done better...

    Personally I don’t get the hype about Mbappe. He’s got an impressive burst of pace and has a powerful shot but technically he’s nothing special and hasn’t got a great all round game.

    It’s not so much that Kulusevski has no pace it is that he plays on the right yet refuses to use his right foot to put in early crosses. He then takes an eternity cutting in and deciding what he’s going to do next.

    Begs the question why that front 3 didn’t start the game? Johnson’s better in the right, Son is not a CF and is better from the left and Richarlison is a CF who likes playing against Liverpool?
