    In short, true that.

    Tottenham Takeover Talk

I get DL has made some dreadful football/transfer decisions, and I agree with you, but I was pushing back against the statement that Levy overprices the club, and that has been the sole reason why any takeover/investment talks have come to nought.

    Tottenham Takeover Talk

I know and agree, but I struggle with lazy posts like that. If you're going to denigrate a successful person at least know what you're talking about from a position of knowledge!

    Tottenham Takeover Talk

How do you know this, were you part of any talks? There are myriad moving parts in business purchase negotiations, and any prospective buyer will know what the seller is asking for prior to opening the conversation. But hey, if that's what you believe, so be it.

    Manager Watch: Ange Postecoglou

I was about to post something very similar to this. I guess there are many among us who only hear/remember what they want to hear, or remember, and ignore the rest (had to fight the temptation to quote Simon and Garfunkel 🙃). In all the decades I've followed football I can't remember a coach...

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

They made a 122.8 million pound profit for the '22 - '23 season, which isn't too shabby considering, as you say, that they have a small stadium which limits match-day income. I guess that as long as the debt is serviced, and they stay on the right side of PSR and FFP, then they aren't doing too...

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

On the surface they appear to be, but I haven't looked at their financials, I don't need to sleep right now :sneaky:

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

Yep, they're pretty much screwed every which way they turn. So, so sad..........................................(y)

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

To a degree, yes, but they seem to be very well run financially, so I can see them paying off the debt without drastic sales, unlike Cheatski have to do.

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

They do but they've paid it down to 373.3 from 406.5 million, which doesn't seem like a huge deduction, but considering the huge cost of running Premier League club, they are steadily reducing the debt and staying within PSR/FFP. Paul Barber has done a great job of running the club, but then he...

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

Yep, 121.4 million. Very well run club, as are we.

    Financial Fair Play (general thread)

I can't open these links, but I'm sure that they echo the financials that Leicester reported this morning; a 215 million pound loss over the last 3 seasons! I hope they get hammered!

They can look all they want, but I'm pretty sure they're all very well aware of who they would have to deal with, and the response they will get! Not worried at all.
