Name your GOAT in each position thread

This with a couple of changes. Yashin or Buffon in goal. Campos left the goal open to run around outside the area a little too often for my tastes. Entertaining but a risky player. I think Lahm slightly edges Zanetti but very close I would drop Maradona back into midfield to replace Zidane...

    General/Non-Spurs Transfers

I agree, seems an unrealistic amount. Probably a fake rumor to drive up his value

5 Bold Predictions for the 22/23 season

We win the Treble Chelsea implode due to manager volatility and Putin interference and get relegated Kane stays at Spurs Arsenal miss out on CL footy again but by 1 point in goal difference this time Man City go bankrupt when Middle Eastern oil money gets pulled out of the club

    Nicolò Zaniolo

Perhaps he has room to grow under the right leadership and if not, provides us with some good depth for squad rotation.

    Arsenal

Jesus would be a concern given that he is reported to have performed multiple miracles like walking on water. Must be getting a bit old though by now. :p

    Christian Eriksen

Personally I kind of feel that he never had any intentions of coming back. We were just being used to get clubs moving as far as making offers and signing him. Wasn't there a whole lot of drama when he wanted to leave before?

    Christian Eriksen

Would be a mistake for him to go to manure. As long as Ronaldo and his ego are there the whole team will be built to make him shine

    General/Non-Spurs Transfers

Villa looks to be having a very good window with some surprising transfers like Coutinho, Kamera and Carlos

    Mauricio Pochettino

Ronaldo would never go to a club like PSG. He wants the formation to be built around him and he wouldn't be the best player there.

    Mauricio Pochettino

I think no manager can truly succeed at PSG as it is now. There are just too many egos and the players hold all the power. All things considered, Poch did well there.

    Ex-Manager watch: Antonio Conte

Not saying we will score 10 goals but you can visibly see a shift in the teams mentality when they go a goal up. They stop pushing as hard and seem to coast. Other teams may be better but you act like the position you want to be not the position you are. If we keep acting like a mid table club...

    Ex-Manager watch: Antonio Conte

I agree with most apart from mentality. Too often (not just against Chelsea) I see us score a goal then relax and defend it. Other teams like the Manchester ones keep looking for more goals. This match though came down to lack of depth leaving us unable to play the managers preferred style or...

Match Threads West Ham Vs Spurs

Nuno just keeps proving over and over that he is not up to the job. His style of play is boring and well suited for lower leagues and mid table but not for chasing CL places.

Daniel Levy draws up £115m double transfer masterplan

He would offer 5 million and then blame Juventus for being unrealistic and try to convince fans he tried his best to get them.

Daniel Levy draws up £115m double transfer masterplan

Sounds like every year. We "Somehow" get linked with some epic transfer deal which falls through. Levy was unwilling to spend on another forward who would have cost substantially less saying we are ok with our current roster. No way will he spend $115m on 2 players. Would have to be at least...

FORMER Manager Watch: Nuno Espírito Santo

And no chance if Poch coming back. Especially since he has unlimited budget and can buy all the players he wants. He always said he wanted to build a dynasty and now I can't see that not happening

FORMER Manager Watch: Nuno Espírito Santo

Sadly accurate I think. Even when we win we look boring and barely scrape by. Something has to give and I suspect Mason would do as good a job as Nuno

FORMER Manager Watch: Nuno Espírito Santo

No, I think Levy will go for whoever will tow the line and take the blame when it goes wrong a few months later. Let's be honest, I don't think anyone felt excited to have Nuno as the manager but we all hope to be wrong. Not looking like we are though.
