Much better performance from Lucas. Really looks comfortable in the 8 role. You can also see that he's dishing out some challenges and adding more physicality to his play.
The concerning part for me is that the team tends to struggle after a significant break from football.
You'd hope that they've been hard at work these past 2 weeks and will be extra motivated to take the game to Arsenal, but I'm not optimistic that they'll put in the type of performance needed...
I imagine he might get a chance to impress in pre-season. Worst case, another loan hopefully in a more challenging league and take it from there. We really need a DM and though I'm not banking on Craig being the answer, would be a nice surprise if he makes the grade.
What are other youth watchers opinions on him? The few times I've seen him play, he looked very mobile, good passing range and committed in the tackle. Would love for us to have another CM/DM breakthrough, especially one that is willing to do the "water carrier" role for us. Would also help...
Has anyone shared this article? Everything points to Ange making structural changes to how his teams play during the 2nd season.

In his second season, Postecoglou’s back line would more often convert into a three. One full-back...
Great to hear. Genoa don't strike me as a club with significant cash to spend, so I'm guessing a low transfer fee and sell on % of some nature in this deal.
I think it would be a smart signing to keep Timo.
He'll have had a hopefully good end to this season and the benefit of a full pre-season (unless he gets called up for the Euro's) to further build on.
Obviously, there are things he needs to work on but I for the overall package of good...
I don't think Ange sees him as a 6 in his system. Honestly, he's much better further up the pitch but it seems like Ange knows GLC won't be with us next season and isn't too fussed to give him minutes.
What is with these "journalists" incessant need to try and have a "gotcha" moment over Ange? He literally sees it coming a mile away and easily breaks it down.
