This Week’s Manager Watch: Ryan Mason

I love Ryan Mason and desperately want him to succeed, unfortunately the transition from interim to full time head coach path doesn't ever seem to work out. I'm also going to assume that the current state of the squad means we will need to continue with Conte's patterns of play and restricts...

    Next Manager Watch

Like many, I would love for us to get Nagelsmann but it would be foolish of him not to wait until the summer where there could be quite a few "top jobs" available e.g. Madrid, PSG, Inter, AC Milan and perhaps Chelsea. There's no need for him to jump directly out of the frying pan and into the fire.

    Matt Doherty @ Atletico Madrid

This makes a lot of sense to me, Conte now has two very different options available at RWB suited to different types of matches and match situations.

    Dele Alli at Everton

Last night you really saw how good he is off the ball, Everton were shocking first half and so easy to defend against. Dele made an instant impact constantly finding space between the lines and dragging Palace around. Lampard looks a shocking coach.

Dele Alli 'could leave Everton this summer' after just six months with the Toffees

If they stay up I suspect he will play more for Everton next season, since they've been dragged deeper and deeper into the relegation battle I suspect they literally can't afford to play him, should the worse happen.

Poch: Foyth will surprise a lot of people

I think when he gets excited at the prospect of molding a player who plays the game in a unique way.

Truth about links with Barkley and Silva

My assumption is that Barkley to Spurs is all but a done deal and Everton are spending his and the Lukaku cash before they officially leave.

    Baldini leaves Spurs

I was very much under the impression that Dier was Poch's first real signing. A player who didn't have the flair status of a Baldini signing, Fazio on the other hand. Your right though, simply guessing.

Townsend hit with driving fine after crashing into parked car

Silly boy, wasn't he also caught by the FA for gambling or was that someone else?

    Baldini leaves Spurs

Agree, I for one am very interested as to whether we are looking for a replacement or if Mitchel / Potch are going to take over his responsibilities.

    Fiorentina close on Chiriches

Not good enough for the Premier League but looked terrible in the Europa League too. He wants to play football and not just hoof it long, however he seems to need 2 seconds more on the ball to find the pass than anyone is willing to give him.

Spurs eye £4.25m midfielder suited to our system

From whoscored analysis he is not a defensive midfielder, lacks concentration and the ability to tackle. Strengths however : Taking set-pieces, Key Passes, Through Balls and Finishing.

Spurs 2-1 Brentford - report from Hotspur Way

I don't think Dier had hissy, but he did pull out of the England U-21 squad to stay and train with Poch, so he could impress are start more at center-back.

Spurs 2-1 Brentford - report from Hotspur Way

I take your point, it would be tough to start in midfield against Man United, however he did play midfield for Sporting before he moved to us.

Spurs 2-1 Brentford - report from Hotspur Way

Dier played in midfield in this match apparently, there is no doubt that he is physically able to meet Poch's requirements to play in this role, the real test is whether he can move the ball quick enough.

Tottenham plan £8m swoop for Chelsea winger Victor Moses

Its very interesting to see the majority favor Townsend over Moses, while Moses out performed Townsend in every almost attacking aspect, while playing for an inferior team, according to whoscored: Moses: http://www.whoscored.com/Players/33064/ Townsend: http://www.whoscored.com/Players/71522/

Younes Kaboul having medical at Sunderland

He has now completed his medical (Thank god). Transfer should go through within the next few hours.

'We'll benefit from hard work' -Mousa on pre-season

Even though he is not the central midfielder who fits Poches mold of keeping the ball rolling at pace, he is a great utility player to either slow the game down or hold up the ball further forwards in games where we cant keep possession.

Younes Kaboul having medical at Sunderland

I seriously thought that he we wouldn't be able to shift him. I am delighted by this, he has been an infuriating player for a long time.
