I think it's being overrated how much of a difference having pace in our team would make.
Most teams tend to park the bus (at least to an extent) against us. Having pace will not help us out against teams parking the bus like Burnley or Chelsea. You need football ability and quick passing to...
Does anyone else feel sort of apathetic toward this transfer?
He's a pretty good player, but I just don't see what new dimension he would bring to our team.
I'd much prefer to sign a pacey winger than Barkley tbh
You having a laugh mate?
He turned his back on Chris Wood and completely lost track of Wood's run which allowed him to get in behind. He was a few feet in front of Toby aswell so he wasn't in the right position for an offside trap either.
It was just sheer laziness or incompetence for that...
Nah mate it understand where you're coming from. I was really pissed when he came on as well as you can see here.
I just find the constant Sissoko bashing even when he has a good performance really annoying.
Also, holy shit this phone I'm temporarily using actually has the worst autocorrect...
FFS, does every bad result we get have to result in Sissoko bashing?
I don't want him at the club either, but he was actually fairly good when he came on IMO. Definitely much bigger things to complain about from that performance than that we brought Moussaka Sissoko on.
I just can't understand what the f*** our defending was near the end.
Once it got to 80+ minutes, why didn't we just shut up shop?
Burnley's only tactic towards the end was to just hoof long balls up the pitch, and try play a striker in behind.
Yet we still persisted on playing a high line...
Why is he bringing on Sissoko!
We could bring on Sanchez to sure up the defense.
Winks to add some creativity in midfield.
Janssen maybe to add some more attacking threat.
But no... fucking Sissoko. What is he going to do against a team parking the bus! He's only remotely dangerous if...
Personally I'd bring off Dier (who imo has been very poor) for Sanchez and switch up to a back 3. That way we can push our fullbacks further up the pitch to stretch and pressurize Burnley more.
Mate, I fuckinghate Wembley aswell but even if we were playing at the MK dons stadium Burnley would still be parking the bus and we'd be struggling to play.
Remember our two games against Burnley last season? They were both hard fought, shit-footballing games. This half is giving me deja vu of...
Sorry. I left out a bit to stop the post from being to long.
My uncle was with his wife and daughter as well. They were in the same line with him but decided to go somewhere else and said watch ____. However he was on the phone and didn't hear them. He thought ____ went with them, so didn't...
He was also a kidnapper.
One time my uncle was at LEGO land with his son. They ended up waiting in line for some ride and guess who else happened to be in that same line? John Terry, his wife, and his son.
Anyway so my uncle had to take a phone call while he's waiting (he's a businessman) and...
I'm not sure about you guys, but I was always going around saying shit like that.
If something was boring I'd say "Pfft, that was gay", if someone was annoying I'd say "He's so f***ing gay", etc.
I'm not a homophobic person. At all. But back when I was younger I wanted to sound cool sometimes...
Oh sorry, I misinterpreted your post slightly then.
I understand I am getting slightly carried away, but I honestly think this window could turn our squad into something absolutely phenomenal :)
Disagree.
He's a 17 year old kid who never played a first team game for City, who was offered 30K per week. If this was about the money, surely he would have taken that offer.
There's also plenty of ITK saying he's talked to Pochettino, wants to come to us, and that he is homesick and wants to...
Sanchez - This is honestly the signing I'm most excited about. I genuinely think this kid will become a absolute beast of a player. Another quality CB was a necessity anyway if we're going to play 3ATB.
Gazzaniga - I get that he's not the most exciting signing, but he's a necessary signing. We...
Anyway, don't panic guys.
Foyth, Aurier, Barkley and Sancho all seem very likely to become Spurs players by the this time next week.
That'd leave us with a transfer window of:
Sanchez
Gazzaniga
Sancho
Barkley
Aurier
Foyth
which I personally think would be fucking amazing. Any additions on...
