Tottenham decided against appointing Erik ten Hag as manager for two reasons before his move to Man Utd

I don't understand. The Spurs board was "allegedly" surprised when he only insisted on bringing 1 of his backroom staff rather than all of them, but when Big Ange said he didn't want any of his to come with him, that was encouraging?! If true, that just adds another reason to love him!

Timo Werner: Tottenham on brink of completing loan deal for RB Leipzig forward with option to buy

I didn't see this coming, but I'm going glass half full, and think this could be a very good signing if it goes through!

    Spence returns from Leeds loan

I've watched a few Leeds games this season, and each time he's been used as a LWB. He hasn't exactly pulled up trees, but he certainly hasn't been bad so it might be nice to have options on both sides.

Hugo Lloris reaches verbal agreement with LAFC as World Cup-winning goalkeeper closes in on a move to California

This feels like a great move for Hugo and his family if goes through. I'm gutted though that his last game for us will have been in "that" game. It'd be nice if we could sort out a testimonial for him against LAFC as a pre-season game. Spurs legend in my eyes.

Club statement regarding the European Super League

I know that I'm being picky and am more than willing to be called out, but what's the point of using abbreviations if you're not going to use them later in the statement? Also, if you do, surely you use them throughout out and now I'm annoyed thay I don't know what the ECA is.! Sorry, it's been...

Eric Dier wants to quit Tottenham after contract talks collapse

Does anyone fancy giving the guy a break? For me, there were 2 or 3 seasons when he was bossing it. I don't think it's his fault that he doesn't fit into the new system, so I thank him for his service and wish him the best if he goes. Who knows, maybe he comes back in 5 years from nowhere and...

‘I’ve got no idea’: Ange bites back at VAR drama as his first north London derby ends in thriller

I'm not 100% against VAR, but there should be a 60 / 90 second rule for them to look at it. If the VAR can't make a decision by then, it's clearly not obvious. I'd also go for a stop watch on the big screens in stadiums so fans know excactly how long there is before a decision needs to be made...

Spurs submit plans for huge new 'blade' hotel to be built by Stadium

It'd be awesome if they built it and then offered some kind of deal that includes an overnight stay and matchday tickets! I can't get anywhere near tickets and I suspect that, even if I did, I'd be looking at a £500 day out if I did!

Hugo Lloris explains why he did not leave Tottenham for Nice on deadline day

He'll never be anything else but a Spurs legend for me, and I'm gutted that his last competitive for us was in THAT game. I'd be delighted if he decided that now was the time to hang up his gloves and become part of our coaching staff.

Tottenham Hotspur could make a summer move for Torino star Atalanta Perr Schuurs

Granted, I've only just done the obligatory YouTube watching, but he looks like he'd be right up Ange's street! He looks like he's got some skills you don't often see in a defender.

Tottenham want to sign Lenglet on loan this summer

Does anyone fancy taking a positive view and seeing what happens under Ange?! Frankly, although I can't help but read posts compulsively, it's exhausting to read all of the negatively a lot of you write! Can we at least give it 6 - 8 games into the season before the knives come out?! How about a...

Spurs 'monitoring' Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson

I'm just pleased there's another Lincolnite here! I do miss those freezing cold nights 25 - 30 years ago on the terrace at Sincil Bank getting thrashed by Barnet and everyone randomly cheering for Barnet, just so we had something to get excited about! On Johnson, that's be a straight 'yes...

Maurizio Sarri vetoes Lazio move for Giovani Lo Celso

I think he could be brilliant in what we think might be Ange's system and style of play. Think FL without being a little bit sick in your mouth.

Paris Saint-Germain haven’t given up on Kane

I did some weird 'logic' in my head last night where we sold H to BM and then got Mbappe for a season before he goes to Real because PSG wouldn't let him go to Champions League club, meaning we didn't need to rush for a H replacement! After 30 minutes of mulling that over it made complete...

Bayern Munich needs at least a €115 million lump sum payment for Harry Kane

Also, and yes, I appreciate I'm replying to my own post, but what would be the biggest achievement - a runners-up medal in the world's most elite club competition, or winning a Bundesliga? Just saying.

Bayern Munich needs at least a €115 million lump sum payment for Harry Kane

I think I've said this before, but I'd rather he stays for this season and leaves for free at the end of it. I hate talking about money, but even if £80 - 110 million (depending on which unreliable platform you choose to read)seems ideal, I can't think of a single player we could buy/attract...

Levy now has price in mind for Kane sale

I just can't see it. I don't think any of us would begrudge him the move, but do you really want to up sticks just to win a more than likely trophy? I think Mrs. Kane and the kids might have something to say about that. Let's not forget that Alan Shearer only won the title that Blackburn...

    Surgery for Sessegnon

The poor guy can't catch a break. However, I'm going to go out on a limb and say there's something magic to come to the fore once he gets his injury issues sorted. Just sayin'.

Daniel Levy's biggest transfer weakness shows just how restricted Spurs are each window

I've just wasted my time reading this. I implore you to not do the same. Just punch yourself in the throat and move on; it'll be far more enjoyable.

He is very excited – Agent says Udogie is relishing life under Ange Postecoglou

I agree, but the initial question was how is he defensively. That wasn't intended to be a criticism of the kid, merely what I'd seen in the game that I saw. I'm looking forward, not back and I actually feel pretty excited for what is to come!
