To echo the post above, across the PL, U21, & U18 our record is
P: 20. W: 17. D: 2. L: 1
Felt like only a couple of months ago that the whole club was in disarray.
Gutted for Harry. He was a slightly different contact away from being lauded one of our greatest ever players, instead he is seen as a failure. Ironic on the night he equals Rooney's record and goes clear for England tournament goals.
Perhaps we've not yet been as fluent as at the end of last season. The attached image shows that over the last 6 months (18 league games) we've only lost 2 games and are 2nd to Man City in points per game. The XG gd posted on the previous page is similarly impressive. Everyone is a bit flat...
Moyes was so lucky the ball he blasted at the kid missed by centimetres. If it had made contact, it could have knocked them over and potentially injured them

Has anyone else ever done that in English football?
Shearer managed it 6 times in a row, Aguero and Henry did 7 in a row, Greaves only did it 4 seasons in a row. Couldn't find Bobby Smith's goals per season. Ian...
If Leicester win, they could finish 2nd. If they lose, then it's probably 5th and we could finish only a point behind them. Such a wierd season. As fans we judge success / failure and yet the difference can be very small.

This cup is amazing in that we had one bye, one penalty shoot-out without ET. Now we are a match vs a Championship side away from the semis. Compare that to Europa League: had to play 3 games, travel thousands of km and we've only just made the beginning of the tournament.
They had a good start and boasted about being 4th in September. I think (?!) they have picked up 16 points in their last 26 games. If Villa or Bournemouth pick up a point tonight, they will be bottom 3 going into July.
