Bryan Gil has revealed he came close to joining Valencia last summer before Tottenham Hotspur blocked his move.

On his move to Spurs, Gil explained: “It changed my life, I wanted to try myself in the Premier League and although Conte likes more physical players, I learned a lot from him.”
The attacker is enjoying his second spell at Sevilla and has refused to discuss his future beyond this season.
“I think summer is coming and the season is over. I don’t want it to come [to an end]. Our heads are too busy with the situation to think about summer,” Gil concluded.
