Are you pissed? I haven't said you wanted Defoe to play over Ade.
You made a monkey of yourself posting what you did. You called everyone PUSSIES for giving an opinion, of which THEY WE ALL PROVED RIGHT ABOUT and left you looking a little bit silly.
Our midfield pisses all over almost every teams in the premiership, so what??
Personally my heart sank as soon as I heard Adebayor was injured and Defoe was starting. But the point Steve was making was (although I did panic when I got the news to be fair) was that we should still have had enough to beat QPR, and we should have, and that with Adebayor and Saha injured Defoe kind of had to start, but at least he played Sandro and went with the 433 instead of the bollocks 441/442.
I also agree about Zamora. I don't know why we didn't pick him up for the pittance he was available for in Jan. Would have been another great squad back up option for us and would have definitely got games. Would have made more sense than Saha really.

Damo did I call you anything at all today?
I don't feel silly at all I expressed my honest opinion and why you felt the need to bring it up in a different thread is beyond me. Are you just bored and spoiling for a row? I didn't directly call anyone a liar only to be proved wrong did I?? Don't you feel a bit silly?
I don't have a problem with people expressing their opinions it's why we're here although constant streams of negative guff get on my nerves especially before a ball is kicked.
And would you prefer it if our midfield was only average? Without our midfield we wouldn't be challenging for the Champions League places. So what?? becomes big fucking deal in actual fact...
I agree BC, but only to an extent.
Was anyone really that confident of us winning at half time? I wasn't. Even though the correct decision would of been to leave things as they were, we wern't really threatening - and to me that's what pissed me off more than anything today.
But the Lennon at half time sub didn't help. We needed to get Modric further forward (like in the Chelsea away and Swansea game) not make him play further back liker the Norwich and Chelsea semi.
Me? I could have been one of the "bunch of pussies" you were referring to. But anyway, no i don't feel silly. You gave an opinion that turned out to be pretty much wrong in terms of how you felt the result would go today. And all those you were referring to, were pretty much as entitled to their feelings and also proved right to have that opinion about todays game.
I also feel you have an opinion about how the game went today, which is vastly different from most on here. I don't even think we looked like scoring a goal and aside the VDV chance you refer to, which for his ability he should have done better, but it was by no means a "gimme". I did think we were clueless an opinion you have already disagreed with. If you are going to challenge peoples opinions and call them pussies, expect your own to be brought into question. Especially as their feelings before the game were correct. We have just lost at home to Norwich and got thumped big style by Chelsea and have let a 10 point lead slip away, to now be outside of the top four in a short space of time. I aren't surprised most people have a negative outlook before a game.
Steve you clicked on the wrong one didn't you?
I'll put into context pretty quickly, we were far more dangerous looking at Stamford Bridge....and we didn't create one single chance as good as the VDV or Adebayor one there...
Yes I know Adebayor wasn't playing today.
Haha no mate, I agreed with you.
That was the longest day this year for me, must have done about 60-70 miles on varying trains between 9:00am and about 10:50pm. Sat in the South Africa stand with thousands of Qpr fans and half the youth team.
As for the game, I thought only Modric and Parker really came out of the game with any credit along with Walker and maybe Gallas, but they'd struggle to get a 7. Qpr were decent, I was pretty impressed with Taiwo for them, the free kick didn't look a foul and I thought the referee wasn't great at all.
We look so fucking jaded it's untrue, Qpr are fighting for their life and it showed, no Ade fucked us, but then again how can we expect to get the CL on a fucking Championship budget, I still feel Levy has a lot to answer for.
I'm off out in London tonight to get absolutely fucking binned.
