So we are 7 games in and the teams likely to struggle are no surprise.

All 3 promoted sides, Norwich, Sheffield Utd and Villa, could struggle.

Norwich play good football and have goals in them but need to adapt their game to grind out results.

I feel Villa and Sheffield Utd lack quality and I predict them both to go down.

Outside of them Newcastle, Brighton and Watford look most likely.

Watford have defied the odds by constantly changing managers, even when doing well, and have a talented squad. Looks like a lack of unity has finally been formed.

Newcastle have had a lack of investment for years now and have hired a manager who specialises in getting relegated.

But for me it will be Brighton who join Villa and Sheff Utd. Just think they have a low quality squad and uninspiring manager.

Agree with most but absolutely not this. Potter has Brighton playing a completely different game than under Hughton and they're doing pretty well at it, if he was an uninspiring manager he would not have got them doing what they're doing now. But they do lack reliable goalscorers unless they can get Maupay firing, he's only got one so far.

My original prediction was Newcastle, Sheffield United and Norwich, and I think the latter two might prove me wrong.

Sheff U might yet fall away but play far more positively than I expected and deserved to hold Liverpool had the keeper not done a Taibi.

Norwich score for fun against the big boys but their lack of goals away at fellow strugglers is a big concern. That has to be fixed for them to pull away.

Newcastle look fucked, our loss to them gets more staggering every weekend, and while I still expect Watford to pull it together they need to do it fast

All the teams you’ve listed will struggle, I think you can add Wolves into that mix they look pretty poor this season. Maybe they will perk up once they are out of Europe though.

Palace could get sucked in too but should be ok. Reckon it will be Brighton and two from those eight teams. Probably Newcastle and Sheffield United.

You could be right.

Haven’t looked too much into Brighton but not been impressed by them for a long time.

Watford in a very negative spiral to go down with Newcastle and Sheffield United.

Norwich have got a player who can score and players who can create. They could do with sorting the defence out, but I think they'll be ok.

Brighton look like a decent team this season.

Watford just don't seem to have a forward who can score. And they've conceded 20 goals already.

Villa and Newcastle both look weak. They seem to be suffering after losing Abraham and Rondon. I wouldn't be surprised to see them both go down.

After what they did to Hughton I'd like to see Brighton go down, I think Newcastle will go & I think Villa might be the 3rd team

Well my predictions so far suck.

Sheff Utd and Brighton both have very good managers and so far look like being safe.

Norwich have had horrendous injury problems. Thy have put in a few good performances though. I watched them play Everton on Saturday and felt Pukki, Caldwell and Hernandez looked very good.

Saints looking weak in all areas without being completely terrible. Watford are good player for player but not playing well at all and the manager change so far hasn't helped.

West Ham and Newcastle starting to get dragged down.

If Norwich and Saints get a few results then it could be a very interesting battle.

I still can't see Watford surviving.
Villa and Newcastle were my other picks and both look in big trouble still.

I thought Norwich would stay up with Pukki scoring, but his goals have dried up.

West Ham and Everton both look awful, but they have too many good players to go down. If they sink into the bottom three they'll just change their managers and should survive.

No idea about Southampton.

Southampton, Norwich and Watford but would love to see the spammers or Everton go down!

Yeah that’s how I see it. Watford just can’t get out of it. Southampton couldn’t even beat us with ten men and Norwich just don’t seem to have enough about them.

I trust Southampton's manager to help them improve, not sure if it will be enough.

Norwich have had horrendous injury problems. Seems to be improving now and they were clearly the better side against Everton.

Not saying your prediction will be wrong but I think they'll make it competitive.

Would be funny if Asenal sacked Partridge and got in someone worse...

They needed a new manager and new ideas after struggling for two seasons and barely avoiding relegation last season.

I thought Watford were gone, but they're suddenly only three points behind West Ham in 16th. Burnley and Bournemouth seem to be in trouble now was well.
