2020 Royal Ascot Tipster Competition.

"For public health and safety reasons we have reached the difficult but unavoidable conclusion that Royal Ascot 2020 (Tuesday 16th - Saturday 20th June) will not be able to take place as an event open to the public. This will of course be a great disappointment for everyone planning to attend.

It may prove possible to run the Royal Ascot races behind closed doors, dependent on Government and public health policy and the approval of the BHA for us to re-start racing. This would be for the benefit of the industry, our valued partners and suppliers and our television audiences at home and internationally. Planning for this is now our complete focus and we will update on progress as and when we can."

So, hopefully it can go ahead behind closed doors, but ONLY if there is no threat to any of the participants.

The festival runs from Tuesday 16th to Saturday 20th June.
All you have to do is to Select a horse in every race over the 5 day festival.
And your selections for the day should be on here in time for the first race.
Once you have submitted your selections they cannot be changed.
Any problems, then PM me.

Non runners: ....then you will be on the favorite at 1/2 the points.

Dead heats: 1/2 the points.


1st. = 10 points
2nd. = 6 points
3rd. = 4 points
4th. = 2 points
5th. = 1 point

Races with 4 or less runners win only.
Races with 5-6-7 runners, 1st & 2nd only.
Races with 8 -15 runners 1st 2nd 3rd only.
Races with 16+ handicaps 1st 2nd 3rd 4th.
This year i will be going with the William hill results... this means there could be extra places!

Everyday you can NAP one of your selections, this means that if it wins then you will get DOUBLE the points for it!!

Last time out drinking was Cheltenham festival, so more than ready to hopefully watch some decent action at Ascot, even if it is at home.

Reckon it'll be a minefield trying to pick them out. Preparations have certainly been hampered.
