The players will be sweating their knackers off on the pre season tour but I wouldn't be surprised if a bling clad Ade is pictured somewhere watching basketball.

If he can get back to training in a week, there's a chance that he can begin the season on the bench and come in for the final 15 to 20 minutes if we need a goal.

I have had malaria twice, it will be 3 months or more before Ade fully recovered again

We need to get Bony or Lukaku all the more now

Having malaria you'll know it has different strains. I've had malaria too it only lasted 2 weeks with strong medication that was ultimately worse than the actual illness (In order to kill it off in my system).

I think he'll be fine. Spurs decided to take precautionary measures even though Ade was keen to go on the US tour. He'll be training with the 1st team guys who arrive late due to playing in the latter stages of the World Cup, so he'll be in good company.

Some of the stuff written about Adebayor online, including the ridiculous recent post by Harry Hotspur is embarrassing. He's certainly unfortunate with the timing of his ill health and other bad news he's had, but I won't be firing any cheap shots in relation to illness or deaths in his family.

Get better soon Ade.
