Tottenham have also expressed interest. Though they have a limited transfer kitty, they would be willing to offer players such as Danny Rose and Juan Foyth plus cash.

I wish, never happening though. Maybe if COVID wasn’t a thing.

Whatever money we've got should be spent on areas of urgent need. Not this.

We wont sign players from other premier league clubs unless they are on the last year of the contracts !! So this signing is impossible

If the Qatari purchase goes through Newcastle won’t be selling any of their top players this window, full stop.

Jeez they are a popular club with both the Saudis and the Qataris after Newcastle!

Good catch. Regardless, they’re likely about to become one of the three richest clubs in football alongside PSG and City. They won’t exactly be a selling club.

It's 13th week of that deal and 7 of them were THAT week when everything will be completed.
This takeover won't happen.

This guy is very talented and his value could easily double or triple in the coming seasons. The fact that he has any value at all means that we definitely can't afford him though, or rather won't pay anywhere near what he's worth, never mind what Newcastle would demand.

Incredibly depressing how quickly we've become a midtable team, with no obvious route back up the league without investment that we can't/won't make.

Don’t see what he offers that Son, Moura and Bergwijn don’t. Along with Clarke as a youngster. We have far more pressing issues to address in the squad.

I think this is just the Mail tagging out name onto a story so they get some clicks.

I agree with the likelihood that it isn't true, but in terms of what he offers, he has more assists in his last PL game alone than Moura has managed in 29 games.
