Ryan Giggs did a lot of Yoga apparently, which according to him may have extended his playing career by several years. I don't know about that, but it certainly could have made banging his brother's wife more interesting for him.
The fact that Fergie dropped or rested him for a few games each season also helped him prolong his career. He usually missed anything from about 5-10 (sometimes more) league games per season.

he has a periode before though where he was always injured and i thought his career was pretty much over then he ends up playing till his nearly 40 so i think the yoga really helped.

Dele´s full time job is to be fit and in the best possible shape (physically and mentally) for his employer. Any modern time footballer has to be as close to the "24 hour athlete" as possible if he/she wants to reach the highest levels. Nutrition is key to this, as is enough rest and in general taking extreme care of your body. Some have mentioned Giggs in comments above: jokes about his fidelity aside, he grew into the model professional in ways of taking care of his body. That Dele is doing this now is only positive. The negative thing is that neither the player himself nor the club (i.e. Poch and hist team of coaches) have demanded this from him at an earlier stage. There is no doubt in my mind that all of Dele´s other activities and interests most certainly have his focus. The most important detail of this is not the yoga or the nutrition specialist, but rather the realisation that his focus has been totally wrong for a long period of time (say, the last two seasons?).

I´m crossing my fingers and toes that this is the signs of the beginning of a matured, professional version of Dele. I´m not talking about the cheeky and somewhat "naughty" player that was afraid of noone or nobody (I loved him, and I think that is a crucial part of his footballing talents), but rather matured and professional in how he takes care of his body, his time and keeping focus on his job. If he does: all the commercial and some benefits will come as a natural product of the success as a footballer.
