Levy has fucked us again. One real striker in the squad and put all his eggs in the SB basket. Son would NOT be cover for Kane.

Deadline day deal for Austin then.

I couldn't give a shit about getting bothered about who we sign, if we sign a player we sign a player, I haven't heard of any of them anyway.

Right, this is the 'unpopular opinion amnesty thread' so I expect this to be read in that light....

I almost want us to completely screw up this window just to see the fallout on here and in the stands. Obviously I want us to bring in the players Pochettino wants, and I really don't want to see another manager sacked because he's been left with an inefficient squad. However, I'm strangely fascinated by the prospect of us making a total mess of this window - like watching a car crashing in slow motion.

I think Mitchell should come under as much scrutiny as Baldini seems to have come under.

Also I'd rather the next person out be Dembele (bar Lennon and Ade).

I want to see Lennon play (for Spurs) on Saturday. I really miss the little guy....

Lennon assist.... Kane goal... would make me very happy.

Yes, it's correct.

Of course there is "something" to it I, or we, don't know the full details about. Which is why I pointed out Capoue specifically. I think Pochettino made the wrong call months back, no matter how just or noble his reasoning might have been.

I think Daniel Levy made the wrong call a few months back, when he picked a barely intelligible, unproven ex-player to not only take over but completely revamp our beloved club. This decision-which some of us knew was wrong even at the time it was broached- is one we will be paying for for many years to come.

Tbh his tenure has been a litany of wrong calls right the way back to his appt of the original captains thru to persevering with Lamela
Agree with most but Lamela. Think he can still come good. But Poch has made a ton of wrong calls in his time here. The original captain selections were sickening, to say the least. The decision to even make Falque available to clubs was wrong. He should have played Ceballos and disregarded the clubs policy, who knows, maybe he would have agreed to a new deal had he gotten some playing time. Both Ceballos and Falque should have had a role here last season.

Dropping fazio, dembele and lamela last season making our form go from great to shit immediately was horrible management. The decision to start Townsend and Chadli at Utd was beyond terrible and cost us a better shot at top 4, that he continued bottling in the weeks following. Sackable offense, IMO. Poch is the reason we lost top 4 last season. It was there for the taking.
The refusal to play youth during the last few games in the season disgusted me and frankly, winks and onomah should have played even earlier than that.

Not giving Brad one last final Premier League game when we had nothing to play for the last few games will never sit well with me. IMO, that kind of disrespect shown to a Premier League legend was vile and a sackable offense. Horrible treatment of Brad, IMO.

His shoehorning this team better suited to the 433 into the 4231 infuriates me to no end and the type of football we play in poch's 4231 is dire. We were a much more entertaining side when we played 433 last season with Dembele in the side for Chadli as the 3rd mid, but playing higher up the pitch than Bentaleb and Mason with Eriksen to the left and Lamela on the right.

Im not saying he should be sacked, but he's infuriated me alot more than Sherwood did, to be quite honest. But then again, sherwood was just getting comical towards then end and giving his seat and the gillet to the fan that last game was brilliant. Loved that move from him, to be fair.

Anywho, he's infurtiated me quite a bit and has had a few occasions that would make a sack justifiable to me. But we need continuity. Need a manager to have more time than 18 months. However, if things are still bad around the beginning of October, i'm contacting Klopp and lining him up to replace Poch by the end of the month if things havent turned around by then. Because, quite frankly, I'd much prefer Klopp to Poch any day of the week.

There's quite a bit I agree with here, and considering my general opinion of you as some mindless oaf bothering the townsfolk of 'Logictown' it's left me confused and frightened.
