Probably already linked but its definitely worth putting up again. This guy is absolutely off the charts and will completely change us as an outfit. Im excited to watch Spurs play again?

Not a tab bit on the slight side? My only reservation.

Then again James is pretty slight as well. Ripped us apart

With Reguilon and Docherty it's a shame we don't have the kind of DM who sits deep like Dier used to but can spray the ball about like Pirlo. Would be such a balanced side, can't ask for everything though lol.
Maybe that will be lo celso. If bale signs and we play a different system we have enough attacking options to drop Gio back in midfield . He certainly has it in his locker.good on the ball and can certainly put his foot in

He played there for PSG if I recall. I read about coaches saying it hurt his shorterm form but instilled discipline that has helped him improve his game since

Why would their be? He, and Bale would have to self isolate when they arrive... be interesting to know if there is exceptions?

see this for Ceballos when he joined scum

Davies is a solid player but I'm not sure I've ever seen anybody a) misplace as many simple passes and b) have a complete inability to beat a player.

Fullback has been a real weakness for us and Davies is a big reason for it.

I see your Davies, and raise you a Sissoko...

Wait what, you're telling me this guy is a spanish international and Madrid are selling him?? Are they mad?
They insisted on a buyback clause for good reason. They want him to continue his development at a club where he'll be first choice but aren't prepared to let go of him entirely. They've got a shit-hot LB coming up through their academy so let's hope he makes the grade over the next two seasons and they decide not to come back in for Reguilon.

strange that utd wouldn't take him with those clauses. For either them or us - he is, highly probably, a 2-3 year option at zero cost.
And its a position that you don't usually make a load of wedge (unless Pep wants the player).

It doesn't seem to be Jose's intention given the midfielders we already have. We already signed a DM this window and he's more of the go em type and not really know for passing skills.
With 2 attacking full backs and Bale we'd be wiser to just go full Liverpool tactically.

Sanchez must play for pace and cover. The midfield make up then becomes the only balancing act.

The one thing I fear with the buy back is that Madrid won't buy hm back to keep him, but rather to buy him back and sell him to someone else at a much higher fee than the buy back, sort of like they did with morata at Juve, although he did spend a season back at Madrid before his big move to Chelsea. If reguilon becomes even better here, as he was already amazing at Sevilla, this could come into play. However, there have been many instances where Madrid never activated the buy back clauses of players they've sold.

Also depends if they want to keep our legendary ‘special relationship’ going lol...

If they triggered the buyback clause in 2 years but the player wanted to stay with us, would he have to go back?
