Wtf?? At 0 1, defoe was impotent until his goal perfect opportunity to bring Ade on and play long balls. But no.

Then at 0 2, with a 2 goal cushion, ever sweeter an opportunity to bring him on..

Ade must be really shit in training or Avb must have a serious problem with him because I don't think he's THAT bad!

Soldado to start against Hull in the league with Ade starting against them in the cup?

With Fryers having to come off it might have forced AVB's hand on subs

AvB probably enjoying fucking him around like he fucked AvB around last season. I would do the same personally

I think Ade would have come on had the Fryers sub not used up one of our 3 subs.... And Sandro needed to come off to be rested for the weekend.

Hopefully Ade will start against Hull :)

I honestly think that was a poor show tonight not bringing him on.
We weren't exactly brilliant and the manager should have offered him an olive branch.
We will need him.

Probably over-reacting. Mourinho kept Mata out for plenty of games and he was their player of the season last year and look what's happened - we're now seeing a Mata who's playing at an ever higher intensity than before. We have to trust that AVB knows what he's doing. He and Jose are cut from the same cloth after all.

You don't? It wasn't that long ago that you said........
Hate is strong word, but he is really, REALLY, REAAAALLLY bad at football.

He has no first touch, no shot, poor pace and 0 vision for a pass. He responds poorly to pressure and I honestly cannot work our what positives he has to hos game.

We need a better striker, badly.

No offence but the op just typifies the general bi polar nature of SC and football fans in general.

Fuck me. Any excuse to have a moan. Even your own opinion doesn't get in the way of a good ol whinge. Definite talks between yourself required.

Game time for this club has to be earned.

Why should AVB use a player who has not given a solitary fuck about the shirt since he became manager?

I'm not sure I can forgive Ade for his don't-give-a-shit attitude for most of last season and I seriously doubt AVB will, so don't get your hopes up.

I honestly think he'll have a few average cameos before finally being pushed out in January.

He has to bring him along at some point unless he has another forward lined up for January.......Defoe and Soldado are not going to last the season with being injured at some stage

I think the Fryers substitution altered AVB's plans.

I don't think he would have flown Ade all the way Moldova (or that little bit of Moldova that isn't but I can't remember the name) with no intention to give him some game time.

Good that our squad is flexible...just hope Ade is.

I was surprised he didn't get a run out, but I suppose AVB is hoping to exert his authority on Ade.

He'll play when AVB feels it's time, and until then, he'll have to be patient and travel with the squad like everybody else.

I expect he'll get 20 minutes against Hull in the cup.

He's not been back in training with the 1st team for long.
It could be that he travelled mainly to continue his training with little intention of being used, especially with Soldado on the bench too.
