Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal & Spurs target Andrea Ranocchia set to hand in transfer request
INTER defender Andrea Ranocchia is considering handing in a transfer request that could open the door to a move to Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal or Tottenham in the January window.
The Italian international has fallen down the pecking order at the San Siro under Walter Mazzarri and is ready to seek a transfer.
According to reports in Italy, the final straw for Ranocchia came when he was benched against Sampdoria.
Ranocchia has previously risked the wrath of Inter bosses by stalling over a new contract.
That put the 25-year-old firmly on the radar of United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs and handing in a transfer request could give the English clubs the nudge they need to formalise their interest.
Ranocchia has been a regular for the Italian national team in recent times and will be looking for a move that guarantees him playing time ahead of next summer's World Cup.
Inter have admitted that they will need to make sales in January to overhaul their squad and Ranocchia now seems like a prime candidate to make way for new arrivals.
The former Genoa star has made 14 appearances for Inter this season, scoring two goals.
