GREAT DANE Tottenham leading race for £10m teen Andreas Skov Olsen, dubbed the ‘new Christian Eriksen’

MAURICIO POCHETTINO is leading the £10million race for Andreas Skov Olsen — dubbed the next Christian Eriksen in Denmark.

The Tottenham boss had the 19-year-old winger watched last season during his free-scoring campaign for Nordsjaelland in the Danish top flight.

Olsen netted 22 times and has Europe’s top clubs following his progress.

Bayern Munich and Barcelona have been alerted to his talent.

Everton are also keen but Poch is in pole position to land the youngster because of his success working with young players at Spurs.

And the Londoners could make a summer bid, with the Denmark Under-21 star about to enter the final year of his contract.

Olsen has been tipped to follow in the footsteps of Spurs midfielder Eriksen and become the next Danish ace to play for a top European team.

I am all for low cost bargain players with high potential and easily recoupable fees if they fail to make it but also not really sure how many of these sort of players we need?

Fantastic player. HUGE talent. Would really be surprised if we could get him in. For those that don't know much about him, he's very tricky, good pace, very versatile in that he can play through the middle or out wide in attack and has some really nice on-the-ball skills. Also, I've never seen him play nor heard of him up until about 2 minutes ago.

Looks shit hot on The YouTube.... go get him. Let’s go big this transfer window. I want quality all over the bench not just the starting 11.

Looks like a talent but the main thing I learned from watching his highlights on YouTube is that the goalkeeping quality in that league is terrible...

He's not an Eriksen type, more of a Lamela. He'd be a great delesque punt.

Err, how is he more Lamela? The guy has sweet shots on both feet. You can’t really tell what footed he is until the penalties.
Olsen is an inverted playmaker who starts high and wide, then likes to cut inside, were Eriksen is a #10 who helps dictates play from a deeper central position.

The only similarity between the two are there nationalities.

So what similarities does he have to Lamela? I never even said he was like Eriksen to be fair. I love lamela’s passion but he’s not curling shots in the corners with his right foot to often, or his left to honest. I get the quality is pretty poor in Norway but smashing it into the postage stamp isn’t something I would connect Eric doing. ?‍♂️ Appreciate your input of course.

Well Lamela was that kind of player at Roma, in general player to player comparisons are imperfect. And I wasnt calling u out I was calling the article out.

Thanks for the kind words and appreciate the honest interaction. Enjoy the big game.

Anything to take my mind of Saturday. I didn't sleep last night, I doubt I'll sleep tonight and I'm dreading getting through tomorrow. I don't know what to do with myself and at my age, masturbation isn't an answer!

What did I just agree with?

I like these sort of links. We have had good results in recent history when buying young players and I think that if the scouts have done their job then ten million is not a lot of money in this day and age. I also do think we need a couple of young exciting attack minded players as we seemed to lack that a bit last year from the bench.

Never heard of this lad, I think the point is he's a similar age to the likes of Sessegnon and Clarke but around half the price. Who knows what the future holds for any of them but its great to see we're identifying young prospects.
