Talks are progressing over a deal for Kieran Trippier to join Atletico Madrid from Tottenham, according to Sky sources.

As part of negotiations over a deal for Trippier,Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Atletico Madrid striker Angel Correa, Sky Sports News understands.

It is unclear whether Spurs want to sign Correa but he is an Argentina intentional and is well known to Mauricio Pochettino.

I know the square route of fuck all about him, so I will be reliant on our world scouts as to how badly I will want him to be a Spurs player for the next 48 hours until he is linked with Arsenal on a 12 month loan deal with an 18 month loan back deal.

Bring me the info.

So he’s intentionally an Argentine? And why not!

I think that is just a lazy link because Poch is Argentinian.
AS are also carrying it though they may just be copying Sky News and pretending it's their own. I expect this may die a quick death but rather the conversation be here than all mixed up in the Trips thread.

If we ever did consider buying him the medical would be a major factor in view of his heart surgery a few years ago.

For anyone who actually watches Atletico, why does Simeone persevere with him if he has such a poor goalscoring return. He made almost 50 appearances last season. Does he work super hard?

He seems to come on as a sub half the time so I would guess it's something like that. Runs about a bit.

So far - a small in stature sub who runs around a bit and lacks goals with a past heart condition ...

Sounds promising, sign me up.

Don't see the point in this when we already have Janssen (who's similar). So a big no.
