Correa spent most of his appearances on the wing so his recent goal return isn't too relevant. He's a scrappy, pacey player who can play all along the front line. Personally I think we can do better but comparing him to Janssen isn't really fair or right.

I know the square route of fuck all about him, so I will be reliant on our world scouts as to how badly I will want him to be a Spurs player for the next 48 hours until he is linked with Arsenal on a 12 month loan deal with an 18 month loan back deal.

Bring me the info.
I signed him on FIFA (for Spurs) once. Had great potential and was up to high 80s for overall rating very quickly.
Anyone tried him out in Football Manager? :p

The signing isn't special but as part of Trippier it might just be worth a gamble, never know what Poch could do to him.

Don't know much about this player but from looking at his stat's and reading about him online I have concluded that he's absolutely what we don't need. (first post btw, hi)

We need to be aiming higher than squad players. Never pulled any trees up not going to get in our front 4 that's for sure. Hoping it a lazy link

If it's a Kane backup type player I don't really want to go the player happy to sit on the bench type signing like Llorente, I want someone who has the self belief (almost arrogance) and talent that he's going push Kane all the way.

I think Bats would have been a good signing shame he's stuck with that lot at SW10

I’d rather take the trippier money and add it to the allocated funds for the Sess twins or other incomings.

ATLETICO AGREE TRIPPIER DEAL

Atletico Madrid have agreed a £21.7m (€24m) deal with Tottenham to sign Kieran Trippier, Sky Sports News understands.

Spurs were offered the chance to sign striker Angel Correa during negotiations, but have opted instead for a straight cash deal.

Trippier is due in Spain today to undergo a medical and there is confidence on all sides that his transfer can be completed by the weekend.

By the weekend? It’s only Wednesday.

Surely medical today followed by signing the contract and it’s done today, if not, tomorrow at the latest.

Not sure what is so complicated that it would require 3 days when other than the medical, everything would be agreed already in principle.
