Of course it’s BS - you can’t offer or sign a pre-contract agreement until player is in final 6 months of existing contract. That’s why no-one has ever signed one before January window

ITK some weeks back suggested our main target was waiting for an offer somewhere else. We all assumed it was Milik & Juve so logic dictates he's more than happy to go for Roma over us too and that of that were to be the case, we'd act on our secondary targets.

Another one down. Looked a good player but I was worried about his injury history and his tendancy to miss easy chances. Does seem like staying in Italy was his preference anyway.

Start of the window I was 100% confident. Now I’m about 20%, if that. Every striker we are linked to we either miss out on or the link is dismissed.

Feels like we are just waiting for them to filter out. Then we'll move for one of the ones left as the selling club will have no other buyers and we can do it cheaply.
