It's clear that he doesn't rotate because their depth is so piss poor that it doesn't allow them to. The only place in the entire 11 they have a viable rotational option for is LW with Trossard. Almost every other position is weakened significantly when they rotate (apart from the positions which are weak anyway, LB, CF etc.).

They've been so insanely lucky to avoid injuries this season, it makes you sick.
That actually reflects badly on Arteta.

Been there 5 years spent, what? 600m?

Still relying on a youth product at RWF and without a capable CF.

Ed Aarons of the Guardian saying they're targeting Isak and Olise in the summer.

Real statements of intent if they get them.
There's no way they're doing that. They had to structure the Raya deal as a loan because they were right up against PSR regulations; that's already £30m they're down. Then who's going to buy their players? Anyone they'd want to sell (Ramsdale, Zinchenko, Vieira, Smith-Rowe, Nketiah) they're not going to get the value they need.

Saw a really interesting point last night.

Every season Arteta uses more or less 14 players frequently.

The others hardly get a look in. That's not an issue when you are in your first seasons and building.

However, Arteta spends 200m per summer. Which means he signs players one summer and the following summer that player is suddenly a bit part player.

So will he spend another 200m this summer and then sideline players he bought last summer?

I mention this because he gets loads of excuses made for him but he makes all these choices that could probably make things easier on the squad.

Also, he is now banging on about signing a CF who can score 30 goals.

Well, it was your choice to bring in Jesus and Havertz for a combined 110m when neither fit that profile.

I honestly think Arteta would struggle at a lot of other clubs as he wouldn't get that support and patience
Arteta needs time and the chance to bring in his own players.

I guess they've got CL money coming in now but hard to see them getting both for less than £150m, then they arguably need another CM and elite keeper. Would be remarkable to spend £700m ish and still have nothing to show for it. What did Poch spend at Spurs before he got us to second?

To be fair Poch inherited a squad with: Lloris, Walker, Vertonghen, Dembele, Eriksen and Kane in it. That's one hell of a spine of players and I think it's fair to say each one of those players is the best player we've had in that position in the 10 years before or since 2014.

I can only take this guy in small doses but props to him for committing to the bit. I'd heard him describe Robbie as a malteser with legs before but Swole Campbell was new to me.
