Ivory Coast captain Serge Aurier managed to injure himself again at the Africa Cup of Nations without playing -- hurting his right hand while banging the table to encourage his team mates. Aurier, still recovering from an ankle injury, sat out Monday’s 1-0 win over Mali in the last 16 but left the stadium with his hand in a splint.

Ankle? I thought he'd done a hammy?

I like Aurier, he's mental.

how hard would you have to bang your own hand to break it,

com on Aurier, behave, we have a big season upcoming at the Spurs, and with Trips all out to sea, this could be your moment.

Think, for crying out loud.

You're in need of some perspective.

His team were playing in the African Nations and he was showing passion, trying to gee up his team mates in the process...I think the man's allowed to do that don't you?

It's not all about Spurs you know...

I was being sarcastic mate, chill.

but just so you know, it's all about the Mighty Spurs, if everyone of them quit international football, I wouldn't bat an eyelid ;)

I wish some of our players were showing that passion (I hope they are)

If only Eriksen would bang his foot on the ball with passion in them free kicks

That might explain a lot actually. He must've tried to make sense of an SC match thread, and come out of it no longer being able to tell left from right.
If he made it through the spelling errors and rollercoaster of emotions that is the match day thread he may want a brain injury
