Morning all,

As a Spurs fan north of the border, my opportunities for seeing the boys anywhere near are obviously fairly limited. However, with both Sunderland and Newcastle in the PL, i'm thinking i should make more of an effort. Does anyone know whether i'll be able to get tickets for either of these games? I'm a non-member etc., so i'd be buying on general sale. The Newcastle one is 28th Dec, so i'm thinking it'll be fairly popular - will i be wasting my time?

Any thoughts would be greatly recieved.

THANK YOU PLEASE.

At sunderland you can get a ticket from their ticket office. I would go the morning of the match to either pay or collect because ques to see a real football team will get big there. It is for the away stand and at sunderland prices so quite cheap.

Newcastle is a bit trickier as they don't sell "away" seats, even if the women on the phone says other wise. I've managed to get face value tickets though, off spurs fans out and about on the day of the game.

I'm in the same boat as you (ish) mate. My birthday's the 28th and I've got a couple of massive Newcastle fans who are going up, but they have season tickets, so I'm serioulsy hoping I can get one!

28th dec? hard to know if it'll be high demand cos people are off work, or low because ppl have the family round and don't want to go all the way up there.

Mate the Newcastle away is January. Do you mean the away games?

I think both will be easy, I got Newcastle last time on general sale and thought about Sunderland as they were also.

I'll try going up for both, for a night out on Quayside that I can actually remember this time.

Sunderland is always easy. Newcastle a little more tough but apply on the day of general sale and you should be ok.

St James' is horrendous in the nosebleed section.
