I just don't think many of our opposing fans, fully understand that if Bale fancies it, he is still one of the best 5 players in the world (he is such a physical specimen and the buzz he must be giving to the others can't be underplayed). This coupled with Kane, is insane. We are in the process of adding to our starting 11 one of the best players ever to wear a Spurs shirt and someone that is a big game player.

Excited is an understatement.

Yeah it’s because I think there are enough “fans” of all teams thinking Bale is here because of a lack of ambition and / or is just too old to have an impact.

It’s obviously daft, but I’m personally keeping my social media powder dry until he is playing and tearing it up, I mean poor bloke might get scythed down first game and be out for several weeks. ?

The effect he has in the rest of the squad should not be underestimated, as the piece says the younger members of the squad in particular can learn so much from him.

Its a panic buy (loan) remember. He's 31. Hes knackered. Too many injuries. Doesn't fancy it. Loves golf too much etc etc

Aubameyang is a month older but apparently it shows intent that he's been tied up on a 3 year contract. "Signing for this special club was never in doubt," he said...

Today its reported that Man City will come in for Messi again next year. He'll be 34 at the beginning of the 21/22 season. No mention of his age.

Can't wait for Bale to rip it up again. Son Kane Bale. All jokes aside and notwithstanding any possible bias, that's got to be the best forward line known to man. Ever.

At least he won't come up against that twat Charlie Adam, who used to scythe him down at any opportunity.
