Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is a shock transfer target for Barcelona this summer, as manager Quique Setien aims to sign a new box-to-box star to replace Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal, and he hopes to use Spurs boss Jose Mourinho's criticism of the Frenchman to his advantage.

Don't think a box-to-box midfielder would get out of breath going from the 6 yard box to the 18 yard one tbf

If we can get back what we paid, bite their hand off.
A rather big if. Hardly played, looks bereft of fitness, form and interest. Publicly lambasted by the manager on numerous occasions. They probably know we'd take half of what we paid, if indeed they actually want him.

I wouldn't have thought that many clubs are thinking about transfer business at the moment.

Given Barca have apparently already asked there players to take up to 70% paycut find it hard to believe that they are in position to sign anyone

You mean Messi (and I'm one of biggest fans) will have to survive on £300k a week. Poor little Leo!

I will be over the moon if they paid £40 million because he isn’t even worth that at the moment.

Lets wait and see what he's like when we start playing again. He's got at least 8 weeks to sort his shit out.

Hate to think what shape he'll be in after 12 weeks of sitting at home with the occasional walk to the Tesco Metro to restock the biscuit tin.
