Even so I'm sure he'll try to find another club, has he gone dark on twitter? That might be another reason Levy would want him out, he did have a lot to say for himself like when he put that picture up of him and Ade saying they were fit (if I remember correctly).

What the hell happened to him? I refuse to believe he turned shit overnight and although he wasn't the most solid defender, at his peak for us a few years ago he was better than Rose and Davies are now. He must still be able to play, how has his career just gone down the toilet? Was it the Quenelle thing?

There was talk that he was just a disruptive influence & entirely unprofessional.
I'm sure I read an anecdote about him refusing to get off a team bus until he'd finished watching a film or something equally stupid, causing everyone to have to wait for him.

It's interesting: rumours dogged Holtby since AVB's time regarding attitude; what appears entertaining to us fans may not translate well in a professional environment, and sure enough 3 coaches have sanctioned him leaving. Similarly Sandro: great with the fans, yet rumours he alienated the parts of the club by speaking out against Sherwood last year; and now he's been sold. Considering the goodwill he was held in by the fans, the OS statement couldn't have been more curt, compared to the big send off Dawson got (who ironically has always been regarded as a complete professional.)

Anyway, Benny is in total limbo & we never even got the slightest rumour about him going anywhere.

Just checked his tweeter & he's there but behaving like a 12 year old girl. No clues there! He did tweet Coysss on the 16th august (opening day)

I think we should be careful about drawing such conclusions regarding Sandro. What part of the club did Sandro "aleniate"? Tim basically created an atmoshpere of mutiny at Spurs, and I was glad that someone actually spoke out in this case.
It's a well known fact that Sandro's very injury prone (and no, that's not because - as some tried to make it look like - he spent time on his guitar) and was out every season due to recurring injuries.

Your reply highlights the issue.

You, a fan, were glad he spoke out and i'm guessing that Levy & the paymasters weren't. There are few companies in the world that appreciate their staff airing grievances outside of the organisation & whilst obviously football is fundamentally different to many businesses, it's still a breach of protocol. There was also talk of new contract talks being unsuccessful due to us wanting to factor in something to do with injuries and Sandro's agent asking for a very big deal. This again may have frustrated Levy given that he's paid Sandro throughout rehabilitation only to find he or his agent won't compromise on a new deal. Sure that's business but all these factors may have had an impact.

Like I say, i'm only drawing together rumours, we'll never really know, but considering how popular he was with the fans his departure was announced in an entirely offhand manner; which suggests to me that whilst we loved him, maybe Levy et al didn't.

According to JJ, Sandro was sold due to fitness issues. I think you are looking too much into the tweets.

Also, Dawson's send off was sue to him being a few months off a testimonial, not because he was more professional than Sandro.

Point 1: You don't know that as fact, nor do I: there is room for speculation
Point 2: I'm not denigrating Dawson's send off merely comparing it to Sandro's non-send-off. My point is simply that more could have been done: #thankyousandro ? maybe, even one tweet? And nothing was. The implication is there.

Point 1: If we are just talking about facts, then we now for fact, he was struggling for fitness. We don't know for a fact that Sandro was alienating parts of the club (where did you even hear this rumor?). JJ has been pretty spot on with everything else, so with his statement accompanied with the fact Sandro was struggling with injuries, i'm pretty confident in JJ's info.

Point 2: Every other departure (other than Dawson) got the same message. I know it seems like longer, but he has only been here 4 years and played less than 100 games.

Well, French is indeed a hard language to understand...
Not if you're French.
Seems like BAE is at war with Levy. He does not give 2 fucks about football and is a very wealthy young man.
I want him out of the club ASAP.
