West Brom launch a bizarre Facebook competition to win Jonas Olsson’s blood-stained shirt from the Man United game
In a somewhat nasty twist, Olsson’s bloodied shirt is now up for grabs for followers of the Facebook page.
Interestingly, even some Baggies fans have found the competition’s prize to be slightly bad taste, with a hosts of interesting comments having been left on the post.
One fan commented “I love west brom but this is a little weird”, another fan wrote “It’s sorta weird, and a little off, but I really want that shirt!”, while the angriest comment so far read:
Wtf. Your giving away a dirty “blood stained” shirt that you wouldn’t allow to be worn on the pitch anymore to protect the other players against HIV!! But are quite willing to pass it on to the fans. Are you for real?

West Bromwich Albion’s official Facebook page have launched a creepy competition in which one fan can win the chance of winning Jonas Olsson’s blood-stained shirt from the Manchester United game last Saturday.
Olsson played most of the game at Old Trafford with his head wrapped in a bandage after the Swedish international suffered accidental collision that left him with a head wound and a blood-soaked shirt.In a somewhat nasty twist, Olsson’s bloodied shirt is now up for grabs for followers of the Facebook page.
