Last night was evidence that Mourinho's brand of football is completely out-of-date. Kane had one touch in the opposition box for the entire game. We didn't have a single shot on target. Against Bournemouth. Who have been tanked by Palace, Burnley and Newcastle.

How have we arrived at this point?

There's so much blame to go around. But rather than being angry, all I feel at the present time is complete apathy. I don't care, just want the season to be over now. For the first time in 30 years, I'm gonna miss the NLD and spend the day with the wife & kids instead.

Thought I'd be so eager to watch Spurs again after lockdown but that's died so quickly. Maybe I'll return to 'normal' in time for next season, but I'm starting to re-evaluate everything and I'm thinking that maybe my money & time is better spent elsewhere rather than on renewing my season ticket for a 19th year. I'd bet that I'm not the only one either.
You aren’t.....

I missed a chunk of the game last night between half time and 70 mins, I was then really surprised to see 12 mins injury time, can anyone tell me what happened to create so much time?

Also when Serge went down I thought fractured arm straight away, have we had any updates on him?

serge was fine (in that respect). the added time was for former spurs player Adam smith who got knocked out cold after challenging Davies for a header. this was a minute after he went down for 3 minutes after blocking a Kane free kick with his chest.

56 years I have supported this team through some really shit times, but I have never been so apathetic and disinterested in the club as now. I even allowed the Mrs to watch Masterchef last night after the Smith injury.
Until Mourinho fucks off and VAR is changed with independent reviewers I am not going to waste my time or money on this shit anymore.

I think you have to work the team around talented players. We do have some but you can't work the team around Hugo. You can't even work the team around Harry unless you have very talented providers who can get him the ball.

Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, Son, Moura, are all capable on the day or not. You can't count on them.

Lo Celso and Dele are both talented but they don't stamp their mark on too many games

Bergwjin might fall into that but he has ball talent, grit and desire.

NDombele has great skill. We need to make him a central player to this team. He either is great or sell him. I think with the big backing of a manager as a key figure he will rise to that occasion. He needs to create you can see it in every time he touches the ball. Why Mourinho took off Sissoko is a great mistery as he is great at covering while NDombele does his work.

Winks is ok. Nothing more than that. I prefer Skipp to be honest but I think Winks and Sissoko are good players to have around while NDombele creates

Upgrade Aurier but really we need NDombele, Lo Celso, Dele, Bergwjin and Harry. All good ball players as the core of this team.
Lamela runs into trouble, Moura runs into trouble, Son can be really good but he isn't great with his first touch, they all are capable of doing good things and everyone can't be great so they are ok

We have only lost Eriksen from the squad which was ripping teams a new one the last few seasons. It can’t be down to that. We look so scared to concede a goal. That we don’t have any intention of committing players forward. We are so deep we can’t exert any pressure up the field. We have no one flooding the box. The fullback are pushed forward. But the respective midfielders don’t go past them. So the ball ends up going backwards. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that this is a tactical decision. It’s either mourinho playing his games and making us look so shit. Levy puts his hands in his pocket. Or we are just playing this turgid brand of football because that’s all mourinho knows. But either way. We aren’t being brave. We should be smashing the shit out of these types of teams. Not sitting back hoping for a 1-0 win. It’s horrible to watch. When we have been so good going forward for a number of years.

Bad clash of heads between Davies and Adam Smith; Smith was knocked out and required oxygen treatment on the pitch, but did regain consciousness and was well enough to be joking with Kane as he was loaded onto the stretcher

Football is an easy game. On attack you need to create space on defence you need to close space.
We have Son, Moura, Lo Celso, Bergwjin, Dele, Lamela,Gedson. None of them can open up the defence unless space is GIVEN to them. Yes they do sometimes but mostly not.
Our pressing before everyone else pressed was the thing that opened it up.
We are left with Aurier crossing. To who? How many headed goals do we get.

NNDombele Is the answer. He can split a defence.
Like virtually the rest of our team he us not perfect. He doesn't want to play back but we have tons of defenders. All robots like, Winks and Sissoko. They do what the boss tells them to do.
NDombele is creative. It's a diamond in the rough.
Play his creativity and he will open defences

And don't ignore Skipp he too has an eye

Jose is not entirely to blame and we do need a rebuild but we have gone backwards since his arrival.

He has shown nothing to suggest this will improve next season as he could have changed things up and hasn't.

He could have tried Ndombele and GLC in the same team.

He could have tried Sessegnon or Cirkin at Left back

He could have kept KWP and tried him at RB

He could have tried Skipp at DMC

He could have tried a 442 or proper 433 formation

He could have tried Parrott up front

He could have rested Kane and tried Son up front

He could have tried to play with a higher tempo and a high press

I hope I am wrong but the only good things he has done so far are moving Dier to centre back and giving Tanganga a chance.
Thats the thing, he's doing hardly anything different than what dragged down Poch.

The players are letting Mourinho down, just as they let Pochettino down
Both managers have a vision and they are similar. They both want tough defences when the teams at the top have dynamic attacks!!!
And more important, more creative players than we do, to work the ball forward. I have nothing againsta strong defence and building from the back but you don't stop building when you get to midfield...

The 12 mins injury time was mainly caused by a clash of heads between Ben Davies and Adam Smith. After lengthy treatment on the pitch Smith was carried off with concussion. Davies stayed on.
Not heard anything about Serge Aurier.

Sadly not far off the mark.

It's a shame we can't get this across to Levy & maybe he'd understand that investing in the squad is just as important as investing in the ground & the training ground. It's all very well having WClass facilities if the team on the pitch is sh*te.

I haven't seen the replay myself (don't like watching players get injured) but I heard a suggestion that Smith's head-first lunge was reckless and could have badly injured Davies and therefore deserved a red card; and that the reason that he didn't get one was because he hurt himself. If so, it's yet another example of the VAR not doing his job properly.

me too, I’ve had enough. I’m going to follow/cheer for another team in white managed by a good friend of Pochettino for the remainder of the season. They may concede a few but play high pressing attractive attacking football......dirty Leeds

yea i like leeds be nice to see them come up them and forest should be in the premier league 2 old top clubs form years ago.
