Are there any, that live over in Brazil?

Trying ti find out if any of the brazilian TV channels show UK games, but specifically the FA Cup semi final, as I'll be in Costa De Sauipe for a few weeks.

I've tried doing my own searches online, but haven't found anything concrete, but my brother and I, have been wondering whether it will be shown, or whether we should bother bringing the laptop to try and stream it.

Ta muchly - mods, apologies if this isn't in the right place, was unsure were to put it.

If your going to Chiang Mai make sure to drop in on the Marijuana Bar on Loi Kroh. The manager is a Yiddo and shows most of the games. My brother should be in there as well!

Shanks, I went to Brazil a couple of years ago and they showed the Spurs v Derby game "as live" but with a couple of hours delay on one of the channels in the hotel we were staying in.

I can't remember what channel it was, but yes English games are shown over there.

He's a football journalist based in South America (I think he lives in Brazil) and he's a spurs fan, he normally does the world football columns on bbc.

Dunno who he is!

Think ESPN show games now with more frequency over there.

I travelled round South America in 2007 and had no problems watching our games..

Where abouts in Brazil are you headed???

If it's Rio there's a British pub off Ipanema beach called "Lord Jims Pub" has an English landlord who shows/streams all the big teams matches.

Edit

Apologises have just read your first post...

Best thing to do would be search all the ESPN latin american listings... When I was over there Pubs had ESPN, Foxsports and Setanta.

When I was in Brazil I watched a Spurs game with Linekers dad!
Go to a hotel and as long as you are buying drinks you will be fine.

Thanks guys, we are staying in an all inclusive place, so I won't be buying the drinks, as they are free!!

Just wanted to make sure I catch this game with a few beers in the sunshine really.

SHANKS, I live in Central America so Brazil is just down the road from us. About a month ago Fox Sports Latin America came out with Fox Sports plus and between the two channels (Fox Sports and Fox Sports +) Latin America, including Brazil, now gets every premier league game played over the weekend. Of late, 'cause Spurs are doing so well, most of our games are live.
ESPN also shows the F.A cup games, so you're well covered
