Very true. It would just be nice to sign an established attacking player that would really have other teams thinking 'shit, he can hurt us'. That's why I thought Dybala was so exciting and why I've liked the idea of Zaha in the past and the feeling is the same with Ziyech.

Thinking about it other than Lucas who can be very hot and cold anyway, other teams have been facing the same set of attacking players when playing us for what, 4 or so years now. Go back to the 2016-17 season and look at the lineups for the majority of matches and the front 4 are more or less the same as what we still put out now. That's really not right.
And that's half of our problem imo. Stagnation and the players knowing that, irrespective of how they play, they are genuinely undroppable because there literally is no-one to replace them. When we had the 2 windows of zero purchases, I could partly understand the club's view of not wanting to unbalance an established squad, but the result has been complacency, poor form and a club trying to play catch up. It's been said many times before, but a professional football team with a single senior striker on their books is fecking crazy. And we're suffering for it now.

For the cult of Bruno's still around Darren Fletcher (presenter) has said the info saying a deal is close are way off the mark. Sporting want 80M euros and there has been no movement from either side. Don't know how reliable he is, but the BBC at least allowed him to say it

So, have any ITK said:
- we are not interested
- we can't afford him
- he has ruled us out
?

Yes, he may be very expensive. But could be worth every penny. As we are talking about a midfield for the next three or four years that would include NDombele, Lo Celso and Bruno. Three of the brightest midfield talents in Europe. This is the sort of talent that gets you into the CL. Wins you trophies. It's completely worth the investment.
Which means... there's little chance Levy will sanction it, sadly.
But one can dream, right?

2 of the 3 you mentioned and Winks will have to do!

Love hearing things have hit a snag with Yanited. Would give my middle nut for this bloke. He's like a more athletic Eriksen that works hard on defense and can beat the first man on corners.

Yeah, whereas the runaway leaders Liverpool have... nevermind, as you were.

If United can't afford him then neither can we so not sure how it's good news if you're wanting Bruno to rock up at WHL any time soon.

GLC knowing Spurs and Levy

what does this even mean? All through the summer various ITK and journalist said Lo Celso was the one Poch wanted to replace Eriksen. So what is the problem? Alli plays at number 10, Lo Celso’s best ever season was at number 10. So why the desperation for Bruno?
