I wonder if we're keeping tabs on Buendia, in case Norwich goes down. Sporting seem to be playing silly buggers now on their valuation of Bruno (so I'd imagine we're out of this race) and Emi's posting some great numbers/performances in a terrible team.

I'd happily take Jack Grealish. Make it happen Levy

The amount of snobbery that still goes on about signing Jack Grealish is unreal. Pay whatever you need to get him in. This season has shown he's just as good as Bruno Fernandes, in my opinion, because he's been doing it in the Premier League at a pretty awful Villa side .
Criminally under appreciated player and he's English so will help with the homegrown quota.

I wanted him the summer we missed out on him. Had we got him then, we might not of had to go through all this Eriksen mess. No chance of getting him now. He’s out of our price range unless he has a realistic release clause should Villa go down. Shame.

Unfortunately I agree that we've missed the boat - but not because he isn't still gettable, because we won't pay the amount Villa justifiably want.

If Villa want £60-70m for Grealish - just pay it ffs. He'll be worth it. He is class.

Watch him join Liverpool or City in the summer and be a VVD level signing.

Bang on. This guy has everything we need to take us to the next level. He passes and moves and tackles. Full of hunger. He would suit us and we would suit him. We can help him get in the England squad. WE have no one in our midfield that scares a defence. He scares defenders. He is a no brainier

Sell Dele
Buy Grealish

[ducks for cover]

I'm on the fence with that notion. If we could somehow coax out the Dele of 2-3 seasons ago I'd say no, but seeing as he seems to have found his limit and is not suited to a midfield three, it's not a bad shout.

I hope I am wrong but Iam beginning to think the dele of 2-3 years ago is long gone, I know he’s young but right now give me grealish over him every day of the week. Unless alli scores he offers nothing at the minute.

How can we demand loyalty from our players, when we throw them under the bus as soon as they underperform?
Dele is a Spurs-player, and I hope he is for many years - he has loads to offer us still.

Did I imagine an absolute magic touch, run and through ball from Dele to put Moura through one on one with Foster yesterday?

Absolute pathetic journalism to suggest that Werner is available for £60m but if this is true, then forget Fernandes. Balls in for Werner.

their director of football was our old head of scouting or whatever the title was and he left on crap terms. Don’t see us as first choice to deal with I’m afraid.

Oh no, I agree. And I also think that, in a day of ridiculous purchase values, he would also be well over £100m. So not a chance. The point is some douche thinks he's avaliable for less than Fernandes.

I'm so happy we've got Dele Alli his potential is still crazy he hasn't reached his peak. When I hear people say Dele slows our attack down, it does make me laugh when we have CB's that don't move the ball quickly enough from the back.

Back to Grealish. I'd be more than willing to break our transfer record for him and can see both Grealish and Alli combining well in most formations

I thought when he renewed in the summer (as his contract was expiring) he insisted on a ridiculously low release clause
