Bergwijn needs working harder if he wants to be in Son and Kane team. Cant see he can take over Lucas ‘ place at this workrate and attitude

Our second half performance gives us some hope for the remainder of the season.

Dunno why. Still needed a penalty to score. We basically can’t play two consistent halves. And now if Arsenal win their game in hand we’re 9th. What a total mess.

We’re awful......

The position we’re in now is mostly thanks to the board. I’ve defended them for years but Poch did warn them at least 3 years ago that this could happen and they did nothing

But Mourinho once again somehow manages to convince the majority of the fanbase that this is the only way we can play blablabla. Norwich & Burnley not Barca & Real have more control of the games than us. The way we’re playing is embarrassing but I would be okay with it if we won/win every week but we haven’t and won’t even if Kane and Son was available. Mourinho doesn’t know how to set up a attack he just tries to counter attack and hopes for individual brilliance which you can’t do in this day of age if you want to be a top team. And in his first week all he talked about was how much he loves this squad but he then should’ve known Rose & Wanyama is finished, that Dier probably will never be as good as he was, that we have no back up to Kane so he has to play every game and that him getting injured isn’t unlikely, that we have no DM etc so that’s why it’s so tiring hearing him complain all the time

And lastly Jose objectives in these 3 years is to win the CL or League and if he doesn’t he has failed. People talk about if he wins a cup he has succeeded with us, yes it would be great to win a cup but Jose was appointed to win the big trophies and I would be very surprised if he did that

Jose has been finished at this level since 2015

I have my doubts about Mourinho for sure, but we actually played well second half and with Kane or Son in the team would have scored a couple more goals

I've not followed the thread much today.

What kind of day are we having?

A blame ENIC or a blame Jose day?

Good draw in the end but why didn’t we play like that in the first half???

Because it's impossible to play with such intensity when you have a big game every 3-4 days. Mourinho knows this so he tries to set us up to conserve energy so we last out the season.

So far it's been working good and we're in the mix for top 4 (if you read the match thread or Mourinho thread you'd think we battling for survival. Guess that was somewhat true under the old managment though).

Another game we should be winning. Our first-half performance was well below par, we improved in the second half especially when Lo Cleso came on. We are now down to eight and the scum down the road are now only one point behind us and they have one game in hand. The sooner this season comes to an end, the better.

Seeing as Poch’s biggest weakness was his stubbornness to make changes at HT, I’m hardly seeing anybody praising Jose for doing just that and changing the game?

He got it a lot when he first joined when we were winning. We’ve now not won in 5 so I think the lack of praise is understandable

Thought we played well 2nd half, lost something when Lamela went off, draw fair result, Dier and Lo Celso vg, 2nd half best I’ve seen from Dier in a long time.

All the defenders were terrible but how can you blame them when it's a random generator that decides which of them play, how many of them play and what specific position within that formation choice they each play.

Could've been a worse result, I guess. Credit to anyone who stuck it out, you're a better supporter than me.
