Celtic have "closed the door" on a move for Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers with Ange Postecoglou turning his attention to other loan options ahead of tonight's deadline.

The Hoops are long-term admirers of the 23-year-old centre back and were reported to have made a last-gasp attempt to land Carter-Vickers on a temporary deal from Spurs.
