I said I'll be happy with anyone but Deeney. I think I gotta add seferovic to the list of passes. He was good in 18/19, but this season he's been terrible. He just isn't clinical. 18/19 looks like an outlier in his career and he's already 28. Anything more than 5 mil is bad business. If it's to save money for a top centre back then maybe it's okay, but we could get Diallo for just a little bit more, and he's younger and much better.

Hmmm just can’t see us going for a player like him, mainly because he’s non HG. If we bring in a non-HG striker he has to be both good enough to play for us and also be as valuable to the squad as Gazzaniga/Foyth because one of them will have to go.

I think if we go non-HG it’ll be someone of a good pedigree and profile, and if that player isn’t available it’ll be King/Deeney.

Seferovic can get in the bin. At least I don't have a clue whether Vinicius is good or not, so there's hope. But I know Seferovic is cack.

Seferovic's agent was widely touting him out to European clubs and trying to get a bigger club to come in for him last season.

This was much to the bemusement of Benfica reps because he's never been anything other than an average striker who besides one season in his entire career has had a very poor goalscoring return. Someone close to Benfica told me that.

That gives me the confidence to feel that this is his agent putting his name out.
